The Delta Airlines passenger who was breastfeeding her pet cat while onboard a Delta Airlines flight recently shocked fellow passengers and crew members. She refused to quit when asked by an attendant.
It was reported that the incident took place during a Delta Flight 1360, which flew from Syracuse, New York to Atlanta, Georgia.
After a photo went viral online, the story of the feline lover who was apparently unhinged became known. It showed a Delta crewmember transmitting a message to Atlanta colleagues, asking for help.
The message was received through the Aircraft Communications Addressing and Reporting System. Newsweek first reported it. It stated that the passenger sitting in seat 13A was breastfeeding her cat and would not allow the carrier to return the cat. [flight attendant] requested.’
Ainsley Elizabeth, a flight attendant posted additional details to TikTok’s November 13th.
‘This woman had one of those, like, hairless cats swaddled up in a blanket so it looked like a baby,’ she recounted. “Her shirt was on and she tried to make the cat latch, but she refused to put it back in its carrier. “The cat was fighting for its life.”

Although it is not clear what happened to the “cat mom” after the plane touched down at Atlanta, Elizabeth stated in a TikTok video on November 2, that security needed to be involved.
Delta sent the message to the employee during the 2-hour flight. He requested that Delta’s Red Coat team meet with the owner of the dog upon arrival.
According to the airline’s website, Red Coats are referred to as “elite airport customer services experts” and can be identified by their bright red coats. The Red Coats have been specially trained to address customer concerns 24/7.
DailyMail.com reached Delta on Thursday for comment. We are still waiting to hear back from them.

The airline website states that Delta supports breastfeeding on Delta aircraft, Delta connections and Delta facilities.
The airline is unlikely to support lactation in human infants.
Small dogs and cats, as well as household birds, are allowed to travel with the airline for a nominal fee. However, they must be carried in a suitable pet carrier under the seat.
