Michelle Dockery will marry Phoebe Waller Bridge’s brother Jasper.
The Downton Abbey star, whose fiancé John Dineen passed away in 2015, has been in a relationship with the Fleabag star’s sibling since 2019, and the news of their upcoming nuptials was announced in The Times newspaper.
It reads, “The announcement between Jasper and Teresa Waller Bridge of King’s Lynn (Norfolk) and Jasper, the son of Michael Waller Bridge of King’s Lynn (Norfolk), and Michelle Dockery of Battersea (London), and Michelle Dockery of Gidea Park in Essex, is made.
Through mutual friends, Lady Mary Crawley, 40, was introduced to Jasper, who is the creative director at YMU Group. They were spotted walking their dogs in West London shortly before news broke.

Sources said that the two were enjoying their time together, even though it was slow and measured. Michelle traveled a lot for the “Downton” movie, but she and her husband have been in constant touch…
“Their families and friends are so happy for them. This is so beautiful. Jasper may be a younger man than Michelle, but he’s dated older women before and this seems to work for them both.
“She is a real down-to earth woman and has not been interested in dating A-listers.
The happy news comes after Michelle became a widow following the death of her fiancé in December 2015. John, passed away at the age of 34 after battling a rare form of cancer, and Michelle said the pair were ‘married at heart’.

She said, “I consider myself a widow. She shared that she was engaged and is married to her heart.

“That was the first time that I have said it, so it is a relief.
Michelle shared her thoughts about John’s diagnosis and the grief she experienced when he died.

“And how it still feels. It is … sorry, give me a minute. He is the only thing that has made me more passionate in my entire life.
“Everything was just going down.” Work, everything. You didn’t have to work. Instantly, you were an expert. [oncological] expert. This stuff will make your life easier, which was why it is my number one priority.

Michelle also spoke out about the parallels she made between her loss and that of Lady Mary Downton.
Her comments were: “One of my biggest challenges was Mary-like parallels.” I found it utterly bizarre, and still am, to see that the storyline of my character was so similar.
Michelle previously acknowledged her part in the movie as Letty Raines, a hard-drinking criminal in Good Behaviour. This role helped her overcome difficulties such as John’s passing.
“Friends and relatives will see you through all the difficult times,” she stated about her new role.
“But acting is helpful at times when you need it. This is a way to release stress and I was fortunate that it came at the right moment.
“It wasn’t conscious that I would do something different than Lady Mary. But, the script hooked me from page one. It was fascinating to see the complex character. Letty is a delight to play, and truly a blessing for me.
Michelle and Jasper had a casual walk through a muddy park prior to this week’s announcement. As she walked out wearing red beanie and wellies, the actress seemed far removed from Lady Mary.
Michelle wore a black long coat with joggers, and sunglasses to protect her eyes from the sunlight.
Jasper was casually dressed in jeans and a duffle coat. As they walked through the park together, Jasper and Jasper looked relaxed.

Jasper is employed by James Grant, the leading talent agency. His celebrity clients include Holly Willoughby and Amanda Holden, as well as Ant and Dec.
Michelle was understood to be friends with Jasper’s Fleabag star sister Phoebe, 34, and the two stars crossed paths when they both spent time in Los Angeles over the summer.
Prior to singing her favorite song, she paid an emotional tribute before John’s funeral in County Cork.
With his siblings, parents, and close friends, she was present at the St. James Catholic Church ceremony in Waterfall, County Cork.
Michelle stood at an altar to honor her husband and told the congregation, ‘I was honored to know John. To be loved and to love him.
On her 35th Birthday, she then sang from the altar the partner’s favorite song, 1930s Hammerstein’s ‘The Folks Who Live in the Hill’.
