The duke won the race against Kate in the turbulent waters today, during the rain-affected regatta held in The Bahamas in celebration of the Queen’s Jubilee.

William set sail in an iconic Bahamian sloop named the Susan Chase, whilst Kate boarded a vessel named the Ants Nest II. A white cap was also worn by her and her crew-mates, which had the name of the boat in red.

The boat was about five minutes quicker than the four others, one of which featured the Duchess Of Cambridge. However, she came last along with her crew.

William took the victory in consecutive races, defeating his wife in the King’s Cup Charity regatta at Isle of Wight. She was disqualified from her race that day.

Kate was victorious in the 2014 New Zealand yacht race.

They will be attending a dinner hosted at the Governor General Sir Cornelius Smith, which will include local leaders and heroes. The duke will also give a speech. Their eight-day Caribbean trip began last Saturday. It has taken them to Belize, Jamaica and other Caribbean countries. Tomorrow will be the last day of their tour.

Kate was seen speaking with a mother and holding her baby in her arms before the street parade. It featured many locals dressed up in colourful costumes dancing to popular music.

Today, the couple went to Sybil Strachan Primary school in Nassau to drop in on classes and meet staff. The Duchess of Cambridge joked that she had taken ‘England’s rain with her’.

Kate was dressed in a Self Portrait gown and wore jewellery designed by Nadia Irena from Bahamian. She said, as she went under the umbrella, “Oh, my goodness.” Sorry, the weather. We brought England’s rain.

William also said, “We have brought the weather,” The UK has been enjoying unusually warm temperatures today, with highs of 19C (66F), and tourists flocking to the beaches in southern England.

Today, children from across Bahamian schools dialed in to the assembly to get the chance meet the couple. The pandemic caused schools in Bahamas to close for almost two years, from March 2020 through January 2019.

Kate spoke to the children in a speech at the assembly. She said that she hoped the kids didn’t get too wet when they came here. Also, she apologises for having brought this British weather along with them. “Thanks so much for the warm welcome,” said Kate.

She claimed that Prince George and Princess Charlotte are the children of Prince Louis and Prince George.

Kate admitted that “the past few years have been difficult for many of us” over the phone. Emotionally, she said that the worst thing about the pandemic was the separation from our loved ones. We’ve had the opportunity to rediscover our family’s importance and our friendships’.

The Cambridges also spent time with key workers and frontline staff in an informal gathering in the Garden of Remembrance, also in the capital.

The Duke and Duchess were kind enough to pay tribute to the frontline workers that had fought through the pandemic, and share their strategies for dealing with trauma.

Kate discussed the link between mental and physical health with media staff at the Princess Margaret Hospital after successive lockdowns in Britain due to the Covid-19 crises.

The Duchess was informed by Dr Thomas Smith about how the Pandemic had impacted community services and raised concerns for mental health.

The Duchess and Duke of Cambridge will be visiting Belize, Jamaica, The Bahamas, and The Bahamas during their week-long vacation.

He stated that there is a greater demand for these types of services in the community. This has been a difficult time for many.

“Our services truly are from cradle through grave so we cater all but it’s essential to acknowledge a need for these community relations.

Kate said, “That’s right. It is important to take care of our mental health as well as our physical fitness. It is becoming more common for people to recognize this.

“This is the ideal opportunity to have that discussion – early intervention is also really important.”

William is on the opposite side of a group of community groups representing The Bahamas at the Garden of Remembrance behind the Parliament Building.

Duke spoke representatives of the Bahamas Red Cross that had fought the effects of hurricane Dorian in 2019. They were then deployed to assist with covid bases.

He stated, “You guys have been through a lot. These are two such earthquakes, but there is still time to build for the future.

“And that’s probably where you guys step in with your knowledge.

As he listened to his mood, he stated:

“We don’t want more disasters, let’s pray that The Bahamas Red Cross has an enjoyable few years!”

Christine Lightburn of the BRC stated that William understood it. It’s true. It’s obvious. You can tell he is familiar with the demands of our job.

We could not have been prepared for Dorian, except that we were blessed with the help of others.

“Prince William recognized the need to collaborate.”

William shared some personal stories with MEMS, the emergency medical service. He also told them about his memories of being an aura ambulance pilot.

He stated that he and Catherine had been trying to spread awareness of mental fitness. You can say that you don’t feel great.

“When I worked in an air ambulance, there were many occasions when I experienced an event where I couldn’t explain my feelings.

“It is important that we recognize it and understand it’s not the norm. It’s also important to recognize that you need any assistance available.

Kate, who is 40 years old, also spoke to children of the Governor General Youth Award. It’s a scheme for 12-18-year-olds that has similarities to the Duke of Edinburgh program.

She stated, “I recall it being so fun.

“We would travel for many days.

“Tell me about the best bits.”

“I recall going to the holidays that was more distracting than when your friends were there.

Today’s engagements are coming a day after Kate and William were informed that the world would never see another reign so long as Queen Elizabeth’s. This was as Kate began their final leg of the Caribbean trip.

They arrived from Jamaica to the Bahamas, were met by huge crowds in Bob Marley’s old Kingston neighborhood and received harsh criticism from campaigners for reparations from the monarchy.

Bahamas National Reparations Committee, (BNRC), has raised concerns regarding the royal visit. They issued a document with strong language a few days back.

This organisation claimed that the monarchy “looted, pillaged our land, our people, for hundreds of years, leaving us struggling to develop, left the pieces, and then picked up the pieces.”

Robert Jobson is a royal biographer and is traveling with the royals as a reporter on the flight. He said that it was easy to critique the organization from far.

“I have covered these Royal tours over the past 30 years and can honestly say that they have not adapted to modern times.

“The couple have arrived in a very difficult place. The Queen is the Head of the State in Jamaica, Belize and especially Jamaica.

“But, there is not intention for them to leave the Commonwealth where She is head and Prince Charles lead.

Kate and William have not done a single wrong. Grossly misleading information has been given to the incident that occurred at Trenchtown’s fence.

The fence was around the football pitch, and there were hundreds of young people who wanted to see the players.

All three of them walked over to shake hands and say hello. If they had not, they might have been accused of abandoning them.

Looking at the big picture, it was clear that the quartet would always be a diplomatic minefield. This time, it felt more like a handover rather than a regular tour.

The Black Lives Matter movement in the Caribbean, which was started in so tragic situations in the USA nearby has made an impact in the Caribbean.

While the criticisms of an ex-British colonial past are loud, reparations for slavery have been made louder.

William and Kate were guests of honor at the passing out parade in Kingston for new officers. This was an homage to the royal tours in 1950s, when the couple stood in front of Land Rovers as they drove from the parade grounds.

Philip Davis was the Bahamas’ prime minister and welcomed the couple on Thursday.

William responded, “I don’t believe we will see it the same again,”

Mister Davis told future King, who was traveling to Belize along with his wife: “We’ve been waiting for your arrival. This is long overdue. It’s a pleasure to have you here.

The Duke replied, “Yes very much. I am excited to be there.”

Charles and William both expressed disgust at slavery, but the Queen’s government has yet to give them permission to issue an apology or make reparations.

It is possible that this will happen at some point, however, the Governor, who handles these sensitive issues, has not decided yet when.

To be honest, William and Kate have walked through the diplomatic maze with grace. It wasn’t easy, they both understood that, along with their team. It’s been a difficult task to coordinate events and time.

The couple cannot escape the conflict with the terrible events in Ukraine. William’s address was genuine and received well.

William and Kate’s view from the camp would be to maintain calm and go on. Although it may sound old-fashioned, this saying works. They are working hard and have a job.

Robert Jobson will be the author of William at 40: Making a modern monarch.

Christopher Columbus, the famed explorer and explorer of the west hemisphere made the first stop on the archipelago consisting 700 islands.

Centuries later, the once prosperous islands were granted independence from Britain in 1973.

However, as in many other parts of the world, the resentment against colonialism has grown amid the background of the Black Lives Matter campaign. In Belize, the location for the royal visit to the country was rearranged quickly after protests and anti-royal sentiments in a village.

In Jamaica, the Duke addressed slavery in a speech. He called it ‘abhorrent and stated that it should not have occurred’.

William was also moved by his “profound sorrow” at being forced to transport millions of Africans from Africa, North America and the Caribbean. It is a trade that the British monarchs supported and profited off during the 17th and18th centuries.

While on his Jamaican trip with Kate, he repeated his father’s words and called the slave trade an “appalling Atrocity” which’stains our History’. Then he acknowledged Jamaica’s pain’.

As his father Charles did not apologize during the November trip to Barbados, Charles also didn’t say sorry.

Meanwhile royal experts said today that William and Kate’s tour is expected to spark an inquest when they return to Britain after becoming victims of series of ‘avoidable’ PR errors by rusty aides and republican politicians hijacking the couple’s visit to push harder to remove the Queen as head of state.

William and Kate were treated as rock stars in Belize and Jamaica, with cheering crowds singing ‘we Love You’. However, they faced difficulties in three other countries that have burgeoning demands for independence from Britain and demand for reparations for slavery trade.

Today, a senior British diplomat who supported the Cambridges said to BBC that the criticisms were’really unfair. Others claimed Britain and the royals had been humiliated at times due to poor planning.

Some others claimed that William and Kate would have expected dissent because “times have changed” especially with the rise of Black Lives Matter, which meant the tour was successful.

However, there were several mistakes, such as photos showing the couple shaking hands through Trench Town’s wire fence with black children. Yesterday’s photo shoot was allegedly colonial-style. The couple rode in a Land Rover in 1953 to inspect troops. William was in military uniform.

The future King was also accused of being tone deaf and lacking the courage to apologize for slavery in his landmark speech. Protests caused the Belize opening to be delayed.
