While attending a reception at Cairo’s Pyramids of Giza on Thursday evening, the Duchess of Cornwall wore a stylish frilly suit and cut a sleek figure.
Camilla (74) changed into Anna Valentine for an evening reception at 9 Pyramid Lounge. This was after Camilla and Prince Charles arrived in Egypt.
While the sun was setting behind them, the royal couple took a walk together around the seventh wonder of the ancient world.
After departing Jordan this morning for their two-day Middle East tour, the royal couple reached Egypt to begin the fourth leg of their four day trip.
They started their day by meeting the President of Egypt, Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, and the First Lady, Entissar Amer, at Al-Ittahadiya Palace in Cairo.

Camilla, who wore a stylish Anna Valentine tunic and trousers, as well as a flowing white head scarf, looked elegant. She then arrived at Al Azhar Mosque, along with Charles, her sophisticated husband of 73 years.
The Duchess of Cornwall looked stunning in her blue blouse with frilly sleeves tonight.
The accessory she chose was a matching pair of heels and a metallic gold clutch bag. She also wore a couple delicate pieces in jewellery, including Two beautiful gold pendant necklaces with two diamond earrings.
Camilla kept it natural with her makeup, choosing to use thin layers. foundation, mascara, and pink lipstick to finish her beauty look.

It’s all about seeing the sights. On the third day in their Middle East tour, The Prince of Wales (and The Duchess) of Cornwall visited the Great Sphinx at Giza.
He looked stunning in his pin-striped suit which was matched with an elegant white shirt, light blue tie, and matching pocket square.
Charles and Camilla have been to Cairo privately before. Camilla, however, has not visited Cairo. Camilla was awe-struck when their guide took them through the 4,500-years of Egyptian history.
The pair walked up steps to the top of Khufu (or Pyramid of Cheops) at 454ft (138.5m). They then briefly entered the tunnel from the other side.
Ashraf Mohi, Director of the Pyramid Complex, led the couple through the pyramids, including the Great Sphinx. He told them: ‘You are stepping on rocks that go back centuries and centuries. This is an adventure.’
Tonight’s reception will feature a speech by the heir-to-the-throne after his visit to Egypt as part of his Middle-East tour.
Prince Charles, who was tired from a long day of engagements and enjoyed admiring the Pyramids tonight with Dr Khaled Anan.

The pyramid was covered once more in limestone. He said: ‘If you imagine in another time, it looked so shiny.’
The couple also took a photo of themselves in front the Great Sphinx, which was impassive. While on their four day tour of the Middle East, the prince wanted to show his wife the location.
For the first 15 years, this was the first visit of Prince Charles to Cairo. The site was visited by Princess Diana in 1992.
Built 4,500 years ago, the Great Pyramids of Giza are one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Khufu is the giant 146-metre tall Great Pyramid of Giza. It was built in 481ft and has been the highest standing building in the world since 2000. The two-million bricks that make up the Great Pyramid of Giza are each 50 tonnes in weight.
Every year millions flock to see the 73-metre Sphinx. In pre-Covid times around 4,000 British tourists visited Egypt’s tourist destinations weekly.

The couple’s visit to Egypt, which will continue tomorrow, will highlight close links with the UK and comes just weeks after the future King’s appearance at COP26 in Glasgow.
A source close to Charles said: ‘The Prince is convinced that human ingenuity can help stop climate change because when you look at the pyramids you realise just what people can do.’
The Prince and Duchess stepped from their official government plane into the capital today to be greeted by Gareth Bayley OBE (Her Majesty’s Ambassador in Egypt) and Sara Fawcett, his wife.
The President of Egypt Abdel Fattah el-Sisi greeted the royal guests at the palace’s entry. Entissar Amer and Entissar Amer took photos before the group headed for a talk room. Meanwhile, the prince and host had their meeting for about 40 minutes.

Cop27 will be taking over as UN Climate Change Conference President from Egypt. This means that it’s likely that environmental questions were part of these discussions.
Retired field marshal, the Egyptian leader was responsible for overthrowing Egypt’s first democratically elected president, Islamist President Mohamed Morsi. This occurred in 2013 after mass protests against Morsi’s rule.
A televised announcement by the president (then an army general) stated to the nation that Morsi was no longer in office, and had failed to fulfill ‘the hopes for a consensus national’.
Human rights organizations claimed that the crackdown against those opposing Mr Morsi’s ousting resulted, in part, in hundreds of deaths during protests.

Former US President Donald Trump called the Egyptian leader “my favorite dictator” and he has prioritized maintaining order and stability in Egypt.
Later, the Duchess of Cornwall went barefoot as she and the Prince of Wales visited the Al Alzar mosque in Cairo.
Prince Charles encouraged young Egyptian Muslims to think about all they have in common and not just what separates them. The Prince spoke to students at the Al Alzar mosque of Cairo about the importance of focusing on common faiths. He said, “We share so many things.”
After landing in Cairo this morning the Prince of Cornwall and the Duchess Of Cornwall went to the Al Azhar Mosque. The stunning architecture was admired and they took photographs in the central courtyard.
They were accompanied by Dr Samy Fawzy (Archbishop of Anglican Province of Alexandria), and the Grand Imam Sheikh Ahmed El-Tayeb.
The Prince was invited to an interfaith reception at the Abassa Room of the mosque after the Duchess left Cairo for her programme. He was surrounded by his entourage and said to have been in deep conversation with Grand Imam.
