Ed Sheeran has confirmed that he has tested positive to Covid-19 and has canceled all upcoming in-person commitments.
The 30-year-old singer posted a statement on Instagram stating that he is currently self isolated and will perform as many virtual interviews as possible.
He wrote: ‘Hey guys. Quick note to inform you that I was sadly positive for Covid.

‘It means that I’m now unable to plough ahead with any in person commitments for now, so I’ll be doing as many of my planned interviews/performances I can from my house. Sorry to anyone that I’ve disappointed. Be safe everyone x’.
Ed was overwhelmed with well wishes from his friends. One wrote, “Get well soon”, while another wrote, “Hope that you’re okay”.
