He is still frustrated that buyers didn’t want to buy the work even though they could have spent millions painting canvases.

Hirst says that everyone buys into the idea that paintings are cheap to create, and can sell for an endless amount. This is according to a U.S. newspaper.

“Why are they able to believe in one but not another?” He adds. Hirst’s spokesperson said that Hirst had sold the skull to an investment group in exchange for $100 million. [£74m].’

A spokesperson for Hirst stated that he retained some of the work to help oversee an international exhibition.

Critics had suggested that the high price of the skull, which is entirely covered in 8,601 flawless diamonds and cost £12 million to make, had meant that finding a buyer was proving problematic.

Hirst, the business manager of Hirst insisted on keeping the identity of buyers secret.

Hirst, who has an estimated fortune of almost £300 million, employs a factory of assistants to help with the creation of his mass-produced works, and is candid in saying that he sees his art as ‘a brand produced in a factory’.

The High Court is battling for the ownership of the house Stanley Kubrick, film director, bought from Simon Cowell, the pop icon father.

Sandra Blower, who sold The Chantry in Elstree, Hertfordshire, for £6.8 million in 2008, is suing solicitors GH Canfields for £2.5 million.

Mrs Blower, 78, claims her husband, John Blower, then set up a trust for her with £2 million. But he was declared bankrupt in 2012, owing £4.8 million, and hired GH Canfields to represent him.

The firm failed to adequately advise her about the impact of bankruptcy.

Kubrick (whose films include The Shining) bought the home in the 1960s. Cowell’s career began at Elstree Studios, which is nearby. Canfields declines to comment.

Martin Roberts, a BBC Property Star claims that the house he is renovating has ghosts.

‘One of my builders stayed overnight in one of the rooms — and left screaming,’ says the Homes Under The Hammer presenter.

“I’ve not seen my ghosts but I do know that they are around. This house has over 400 years of history. It was built in 1650.

Roberts was an I’m A Celebrity contestant. He adds about the Welsh farmhouse, “One ghost is Bill.” One of the investigators who visited the scene said that Bill could be seen sitting in the front room holding a shotgun. He seems to be protecting the house.

Bill should be a big fan of home improvements.

“The reason John got married to me, and I was also on my sixth fiancée, was due to the incredible relationship that he had with people and animals,” Liz Brewer (Ladette To Lady etiquette consultant Liz Brewer) tells me.

“I was certain he’d be a great father. Tallulah is a lot like John.

Rendall had two children with Melanie and drove Christian around in his Mercedes cabriolet. Rendall also fed Christian steak, and took him out to dinner and other events.

Rendall, a committed conservationist, led to Christian being returned to Kenyan wild after Rendall had become Christian.

One YouTube video showing the lion recognizing his master and hugging him has attracted over 14 million hits.
