Evan Rachel Wood shared even more details about the horrific abuse that Marilyn Manson allegedly caused her. He encouraged her to carve her initial in her pelvis and then decorated her home with Nazi propaganda, knowing she was Jewish.
Wood, 34, began her tumultuous relationship with 53-year-old Manson, real name Brian Warner, when she was just 18 — and she has since accused her of grooming her and abusing her.
The actress goes into more depth about the experience in Amy Berg’s new documentary ‘Phoenix Rising – Part I: Don’t Fall,’ which premiered on Sunday at the Sundance Film Festival and will air on HBO in March.
According to the documentary, Manson emotionally abuses her and threatens her life over their relationship of four and a half years. Manson also sexually assaulted her and separates her from her close friends. Manson bombarded her daily with antisemitic messages and symbols.

Evan Rachel Wood shares more horrifying details about the abuse that she claims Marilyn Manson caused her to break up with her boyfriend.

Wood (34), began her turbulent relationship with Manson, 53, real name Brian Warner when she was only 18 years old.
Wood tells the story of growing up in Raleigh, North Carolina. She was taught to overcome discomfort and push through.
That meant she kissed 23-year old man when she was 14 on the set of the movie ‘Thirteen’ in 2003, while everyone else watched.
‘I remember not wanting to do it, but I knew that the character needed to and so it didn’t matter what Evan wanted. In the doc, she states that “it just had to happen.”
She continued to be a lost and insecure teenager, which she says made her a prime target for someone like Manson.
‘I didn’t know where to go, so I was the perfect candidate for somebody to pop up and say, “Come with me,”‘ she says.
She was 18 while he was 37. At the time, Manson was married to Dita von Teese, and Wood had a boyfriend — but Manson struck up a conversation with her and shared an interest in working with her.
It was under the guise of this professional relationship — Manson told Wood he wanted her to be in a film he was working on — that she went to his house one night and they drank absinthe.

Amy Berg’s latest documentary, ‘Phoenix Rising-Part I: Don’t Fall’, explains more details about this experience. The film premiered Sunday at Sundance Film Festival.

He carved her initials into his skin at one time, and she added that his was carved ‘right beside my vagina’ to prove that he belonged to me.
She recalls how he suddenly kissed her, that he ‘stuck his tongue down my throat… Everything went white and I just didn’t know how to respond.’
Things got worse and eventually he climbed on top of my head. After that, I was left feeling very strange and very unwell. I wasn’t even really attracted to him.’
But the two did end up dating, and she describes how he would give her odd compliments attached to insults and threats of violence, like ‘you’re so important to me I want to kick you.’
His other strange statements include “I’m your vampire”, “You are the blood of my heart,” and “I want to live with you forever.”
She claims that he began to isolate her from her family and friends over time.
‘He has studied this,’ says Wood’s mother, Sara Lynn Moore, according to the Daily Beast. “He has studied the art of manipulating people.” He’s a predator — he’s a predator.’
Wood claims that they both carved their initials into each other at one time.
“Scarification was part of it,” she said. He carved an E. [into his skin] and I carved an M … as a way to show ownership and loyalty. To show my loyalty and ownership, I placed it next to his vagina.
Manson also began showing an interested in Nazis — knowing full well that Wood herself is Jewish.

She says he also decorated their home with Nazi propaganda, knowing she is Jewish

Wood has previously spoken out about the tattoo that he had during his relationship. The four-letter Ms are in the form of a Swastika.

She said that he had written “kill all the Jews” at one time on the wall of our bedroom, right over my bed.

She posted on Instagram about “humiliation” and “blackmail”, and the fact that she received large amounts of drug and alcohol when she was younger than 21.
She says he would paint and fill his work with swastikas and other Nazi propaganda, which he also put around their home.
She said that ‘At some point, on the side of my bed, he wrote “kill ALL the Jews” on the bedroom wall.”
He told her, “He also said that.” Hitler was “the first rock star” because Hitler was fashionable, well-spoken, and knew how to manipulate people.
He made fun at her Jewishness and made fun when she was upset over his antisemitism.
Wood spoke a lot about it before and shared his thoughts on Instagram last year, writing that ‘he would draw Swastikas above my bedside table when I was mad at him.
‘Because [my mom]Both converted but not from Jewish heritage [sic]He would then say, “That’s better,” because he wasn’t “blood Jewish”,’ which she replied at that time.
She also revealed that during the course of their relationship, he got new tattoos, including a swastika on his chest and a skull and bones on his arm that looks like a Totenkopf, another Nazi symbol.
Woods also revealed that Manson allegedly raped Woods at 19 when they were filming the incident in front of others.
He had asked her to appear in the music video. “Heart-Shaped glasses” did not work out as planned.

Woods also revealed that Manson raped Woods when she was 19 while Woods was making the music video for ‘Heart-Shaped Glasses.

‘That’s when the first crime was committed against me and I was essentially raped on camera,’ she says
“We had talked about a simulation of sex, but when the cameras started rolling, he began to penetrate me for real. She claims that she had not agreed to this, as reported by Pitchfork.
‘I’m a professional actress, I have been doing this my whole life, I’d never been on a set that unprofessional in my life up until this day. The set was chaotic and made me feel unsafe. I was not looked after by anyone.
“It was quite traumatizing filming the video. I didn’t know how to advocate for myself or know how to say no because I had been conditioned and trained to never talk back — to just soldier through.
‘I felt disgusting, as if I’d done something embarrassing. And I could see that everybody was feeling uncomfortable. My sexual acts were forced upon me under false pretenses.
‘That’s when the first crime was committed against me and I was essentially raped on camera,’ she continues, adding that it was ‘just the beginning of the violence that would keep escalating over the course of the relationship.’
Woods kept the abuse to herself until 2016, when she publicly spoke about it for the first time — though she did not name her abuser.
Other women, however, seemed to have the same idea and were able reach out to her with similar stories
She said, “It was almost like discovering that your partner had been a serial killer.”

Woods discussed abuse in 2016. She didn’t mention her accuser until the last year, when she made this statement.
After she started filming the documentary in 2020, and publicly identified him as her abuser in February 2021.
‘I don’t remember what it feels like to not be scared. She says, “I will never be the exact same.”
“I am still afraid to publicly name Brian. He is my favorite thing. I received several threats messages, saying that I should shut up and people would know my location.
Brian made it very clear to me that if anything was said, he would go after me. He once told me he would f*** up my whole family from the bottom up and he would start with my dad. I have a child and it’s really scary.’
She adds: ‘This isn’t about revenge, or, “He’s a monster and he needs to be punished and destroyed.” He’s already destroyed. He is no longer a man.
Since Wood first spoke out, multiple allegations have gone out against Manson, resulting in criminal investigations. His agents and his record label have also dropped him.
Manson’s lawyers responded to the film by saying they’vehemently denial any and all claims regarding sexual assault or abuse.
‘These lurid claims against my client have three things in common — they are all false, alleged to have taken place more than a decade ago and part of a coordinated attack by former partners and associates of Mr. Warner who have weaponized the otherwise mundane details of his personal life and their consensual relationships into fabricated horror stories,’ reads the statement.
Wood stated that Manson was her abuser in last year’s statement. As a teenager, he began to groom me and abused me throughout my teenage years.
“I was brainwashed into submission. I’m done with living in fear for retaliation or slander and blackmail. Before he destroys more lives, I’m here to expose him and the numerous industries that enabled him.
“I stand alongside the victims that will not be silenced.”
She also posted screenshots of tweets written by Dan Cleary, Manson’s former assistant in December 2020, who said that He knew Wood while she was in Manson’s company and that he’d ‘broken her’ by the time they parted ways.
Around the same time that she came forward, four other women — Ashley Walters, Sarah McNeilly, Ashley Lindsay Morgan and a woman who gave her name only as Gabriella — posted similar statements on Instagram.
They described a series of traumatic experiences, including sexual assault and psychological abuse.
The number of accused continued to rise. Game of Thrones star Esme Bianco said he would tell her he wanted to ‘murder other women’ and ‘sneak down to the room where I was sleeping and rape me’ in text messages,’ among other allegations.
