45 year old ex-police officer was jailed for five consecutive years after trying to convince a woman to send him inappropriate images of her 10-yearold daughter.

An ex-detective was sentenced to jail after she admitted that she had sex with a woman before her daughter, aged 10, and requested indecent photos of her child. 

Paul Clayton, 45, who was formerly from Anlaby East Riding of Yorkshire received five-year imprisonment at Bristol Crown Court. He pleaded guilty to five child sex offenses.

An ex-Humberside detective cop admitted to having sexual conversations with a boy, inciting him to do so, participating in sexual activities with a girl, engaging in sexual activity while he was present, downloading child abuse photos, and possessing them.

A woman, 43, also pleaded guilty to pleaded guilty to two charges of distributing two photos of her child to Clayton, facilitating him having sexual activity and engaging in sexual activity with him in the presence of her child.

Clayton was held for five years. The woman, however, will remain behind bars for the next 29 months.

Judge Martin Picton, speaking at Bristol Crown Court warned them that they would be liable for ‘lifelong’ consequences.  

To prevent further offending, the Sexual Harm Prevention Orders were issued to both offenders and they were added to the Sex Offenders Register.

The future ban will apply to all children and vulnerable adults.

The pair were warned by Judge Martin Picton at Bristol Crown Court (pictured), that they would be liable for a lifetime of consequences.

This revelation comes just as Bristol Police investigates a series of child exploitation offenses. 

The offences were traced back to Paul Clayton by Humberside Police detective constables and linked him with the string of other crimes. 

Clayton, according to the court, tried to get a woman for a pornographic photo of her 10-year-old girl. 

He was also convicted of downloading child-degrading images.
