Footage shows the scooter flying over Paul Hepworth's 8ft wall at the family home in Houghton-le-Spring, Tyne and Wear, before crashing into garden furniture and landing in a garden courtyard

Footage of the scooter flying in front of Paul Hepworth’s 8ft wall in Houghton-le-Spring. Then it crashes into some garden furniture and lands in a courtyard.

The scooter was able to survive the drop of 8 feet, but it had damaged packaging, The Sun stated.

Father of four, Mr Hepworth (41), said that driver “could’ve hit one child” and has asked delivery company DHL for discipline.

According to him, “It’s a Christmas gift, so you don’t expect that it will be thrown ten feet in the air to land upon concrete paving slabs.”

“This guy needs to be talked to. To me, that’s gross misconduct.”

The driver is then seen jumping up to see over the wall and take a photo to show the parcel had been delivered

The driver can then be seen leaping up to view the wall, taking a photograph to confirm that the parcel has been delivered.

According to Mr Hepworth, Victoria (37 years old) was home at the time that his parcel was delivered. DHL texted Victoria to let her know that the parcel had been received and was signed for.

DHL apologized and stated that their driver was not up to their standard. DHL spokesman stated that the incident was unacceptable and fell far below their usual high standards of customer service.

“We are looking into the incident with the driver and have reached out with Mr Hepworth for our sincere apologies.”
