Fetty Wap, who was alerted by his ankle monitor to indicate his whereabouts, was taken into custody at Newark Liberty airport on Friday.
He was released on $500,000 bail a month ago after he was arrested in connection with an alleged bust.
TMZ reported that he was wanted for public nuisance in North Bergen. This warrant came up after cops checked his details at the airport.

The arrest was made while he was wearing an asymmetrical balaclava-style face mask.
According to the report, the performer aged 32 will be allowed bail and can be released.
Authorities released last month photos showing the huge amounts of drugs and cash seized by the rapper during a massive drug bust at a festival.
Suffolk County District Attorney’s office published photos from the raid, including $1.5 million cash and stacks cocaine. There were also bags of heroin as well as fentanyl.
Fetty was arrested by police and accused of plotting to distribute heroin and Fentanyl at Rolling Loud’s music festival at Citifield stadium in New York.
The photos show the huge stash of cash, consisting of hundred, fifty and twenty and ten dollar bills that add up to over a million dollars divided up into a dozen large, clear baggies as well as drug paraphernalia including metal pipes and hollow boxes.
A stack of bricks of cocaine, and stacks of heroin baggies were photographed along with aluminum foil wrapped bricks.
Fetty was arrested by FBI agents at the sports stadium and The defendant was arraigned at Central Islip in New York. He was then ordered to be held until the trial.

Five others were also accused of running a drug ring and conspiring to sell drugs at the festival.
Officials claimed that the group ran a drug operation worth multimillions of dollars and transported more than 100 kilograms of opioids and Fentanyl (a dangerous and powerful opioid) from West Coast to East Coast. They also sold it on Long Island and New Jersey.
Hours before his arrest, the rapper posted a cryptic note on his Instagram story, writing: ‘N***** move cautious never worried,’ with a prayer emoji and a crown emoji.
Hours before the bust, he arrived at Citi Field with an entourage.

Along with Anthony Cyntje (a New Jersey corrections officer), Anthony Leonardi (his brother Robert Leonardi), Brian Sullivan and Kavaughn WIggins, the rapper was also charged.
He is not known how long he’s been under FBI surveillance or whether anyone else was involved in the investigation.
FBI agent Michael Driscoll said: ‘The fact that we arrested a chart-topping rap artist and a corrections officer as part of the conspiracy illustrates just how vile the drug trade has become.’
In 2017, the rapper was arrested for drunk driving and reckless endangerment. He also faces charges of illegally changing lanes and aggravated unlicensed motor vehicle operation.
