The couple, scheduled to wed in November, were participating in a fishing tournament hosted by the Ocean Reef Club, a gated community, when the tragedy occurred

A couple who was due to wed in November were taking part in a tournament at the Ocean Reef Club when they lost their lives.

DailyMail.com has learned that the boat’s spinning propellers of 36 inches caused severe mutilations on his entire body.

Montero was still able to dodge the blades but was eventually rescued by the others. He can only recall the details.

She had no idea her fiancé was dead until an officer broke the news back at the harbor at the exclusive Ocean Reef Club in Key Largo, the footage reveals.

One point she can be heard crying: “Where have you taken him?” He is my favorite. Where?’

In a further tragic twist, her fiancé’s body was actually being held on a fishing boat moored at the quayside just a few feet from where she was speaking. This vessel came to Otoro’s rescue out at sea.

DailyMail.com has also revealed that Michael Milz, one the six Otoro passengers, bravely plunged into the Atlantic in vain as he tried to save Escotet Alviarez.

Milz arrived at Milz’s home to find that the young banker was already being struck by the propellers.

Montero is first seen on Sergeant Robert Dosh’s video wearing blue shorts and a top while her hair is still damp.

Dosh is the one who coordinated the initial investigation. He can be heard approaching her to ask questions, as he prepares for the terrible news.

“Are you the wife?” He asks, “Would you like to sit there?”

Montero answers: ‘What’s the matter?

Dosh takes her to a calmer area of the yacht club. He instructs her how to get seated and adds: “I want you to sit down.”

She says, “I’m going be okay.”

Dosh questions Montero about what she did. Between deep breaths, Montero clutches two smartphones, one of which has an orange case.

DailyMail.com can also reveal Michael Milz - one of six people on the Otoro fishing boat - bravely dove into the ocean in a vain bid to save Escotet Alviarez. He is seen reacting to the news above

DailyMail.com also has the story of Michael Milz, one of the six Otoro fishermen who bravely dived into the sea in vain to save Escotet Alviarez. The above picture shows him reacting to news.

After that, she began to tell the story of her tragedy. She said: “We had 2 fish. The fish caught one of my rods and told me to hold onto it.

“I held on, and they were backing up. A bunch of water entered and took me. I was thrown out of the boat.

“And when they took me out, they let me swim by myself, and then told me that he was still in the water.” It’s that simple.

Dosh stops for a second before saying “Er, okay”. Dosh pauses for a moment before saying: ‘Er, okay. Your husband has died.

Montero, taking a deep breath as she hears the heartbreaking words, puts a hand to her chest and says: ‘It’s my fiancé.’

Now, realizing what her sergeant had told her, she gets up, shakes her head, and grabs the phone.

‘No, no, no. It’s not true,” she declares, gesturing to Dosh, as she clenches her jaw in pain.

Dosh replied, “It’s difficult,” suggesting that she remain seated.

Dosh speaks on his cell phone to a colleague and asks him: ‘Can you have a lady over here?

Dosh also has louder conversations with an official in Spanish making it hard to understand what he is saying.

Dosh is requesting help from an official. Montero, Dosh’s fiance, can be heard speaking Spanish as she calls Pedro, her brother.

‘Pedro? Pedro said something to me by the police, that I didn’t know. She says this in a panicked, rushed voice.

Dosh may be heard to say to another person: “Yeah she’s going flip.”

Montero raised her voice in protest and broke down in sobs. I don’t know anything…’

Alviarez used Instagram to share his fishing passion and his catch photos.

Alviarez was swept up in the wake of the 60-foot craft's motor about six miles off the shore of Key Largo, according to the FWC report. Based on the size of the boat, experts claim the propeller was likely as large as 36 inches in diameter

The FWC report states that Alviarez, a 60-foot long craft, was driven six miles from Key Largo by its propeller. Experts believe that the propeller measured 36 inches diameter, based on its size.

She suddenly shouts out in grief and makes a sound similar to Haaah!

She then says in Spanish “I don’t understand” before yelling in English, “What happened?” Was it a coincidence? “What happened?”.

She gives the officer her phone and adds, “But I have to hear.”

Then comes another terrifying conversation.

Montero still sits on concrete, as Dosh speaks into his phone: “Hey Sergeant Dosh. How are you?” Do you consider yourself his brother?

A man can be heard saying, in deep pained tones: “Yes, I am.”

Dosh then asks the brother where he’s at the moment. He says that he’s on his way to the accident scene. The officer then says: ‘There has been an accident….

“Okay, your brother has died.”

As he sobs, the anguished brother can be clearly heard saying, “Don’t tell my that. Please no, please not.” His voice turns into heartbreaking cries.

Montero answers the phone, saying: Sir, sir. I have to talk to someone. Before walking off, Montero said: “I know..” before he left the officers.

Dosh points to Montero and says: “Yeah she’s shocked, she is in shock.”

The officer believes the grief-stricken fiancée has been taken to an ambulance.

Montero is still stunned and can be seen later returning to the dockside crying: “I just have one question.” What did you do to him? His face is what I long for. Where?’

Initial reports said the banking heir was hit on the head. But it is now clear the injuries were far more extensive and sliced his body as well

Initial reports stated that the bank heir had been hit in the head. However, it has now been revealed that his injuries were much more severe and had also caused him to be sliced across the body.

Escotet Alviarez was actually found on board a smaller fishing boat moored close to her, which had come to the Otoro’s rescue during Saturday’s tragedy.

Montero & Escotet Elviarez were set to get married in November.

Their regular competition in fishing on the Otoro saw them posting photos to social media and sharing their experiences.

In various conversations with Sgt Dosh, the horrendous extent of Escotet’s injuries is revealed.

Initial reports stated that the bank heir had been hit in the head. It is now evident that the injuries to the bank heir were much more severe and also sliced his body.

Dosh dials someone and tells them: “His wife is here.” Her laughter is almost uncontrollable.

‘There were six people on the vessel, it was called the Otoro, I guess they are visitors here…

According to the story, the boat claimed that it had caught two fish. As they were pulling back, the wife went down in the water. However, when they put the neutral setting on the boat, her husband leapt in, then was submerged underneath the water and props drove him out. Yeah… he’s got it on both legs, gut, everything.’

Sgt Dosh called again to explain the situation. He said that the man had been bleeding out. This guy is abdominal… legs, everything just tucked up.’

The description gets more unpleasant when Otoro has a conversation about it with the skipper on the fishing boat.

Captain, whose identity is unknown, talks about drawing a diagram that shows his involvement in the investigation. Dosh says to him, ‘I don’t believe you saw it.

The diagram represents the boat’s body. Yes, that’s right. The body was placed in your boat. You weren’t that boat that was involved…’

The skipper replies: “Yeah. That’s exactly what I would do. Hey, I was on a boat…. You open up the side of the boat…’

But then he adds crudely: ‘Stick figure f***ing hanging there with no legs. Stick figure with no legs.’

Then Sgt Dosh replies: “Exactly.”

DailyMail.com previously reported that Scott Leon (51), skippered the Otoro. Experts have confirmed that it was backing up, as this is the most common technique for anglers fighting fish.

Distraught hero Milz, 34 – also a charter boat skipper from the Miami area – is seen at the beginning of the video sitting on the concrete quay, shaking his head and crying.

Alviarez was a graduate of the University of Miami who had 'vast experience in real estate development' in the city, according to his biography on Banesco USA's website

Alviarez, who was a University of Miami grad and had extensive experience in real-estate development in Miami according to Banesco USA’s biography.

The first footage has no sound as the man struggles to find his voice, while a man comforts him.

The sound comes on and Milz gives Dosh the first account of Escotet Alviarez’s bravery in trying to rescue his fiancée.

He tells the sergeant: ‘We were reversing, we were backing down on a fish… the cockpit fell, went in the water, we had two fish on.

“The husband and wife were both in the water, but the wife went overboard while the boat was reversing. At the time that we were changing the gear, the owner tothrew his rod. This stopped the boat going in reverse. The owner ran under the boat.

Sgt Dosh points to Escotet Alviarez’s body and asks: “So that’s the owner?” Milz replied: Yes sir, that’s who it is.

Milz tells the officer that he saw Milz under the boat. Milz sobs more, and then he says: ‘I leapt in the water.

“And they didn’t know what was going to happen. I didn’t know what to do, so I just went in for him. And I got to him I realized it was f***ing bad man.’ Further sobs as he repeats: ‘F***ing bad.’

Dosh: “Were they in reverse?”

Milz is going sideways with his head as he cries: “When her wife fell over?” However, when Milz jumped, he dropped his rod into the river and followed her.

“And when he got in behind her, I think the boat went. It stopped there, and I’m not sure what happened.

“But, after that, all I remember was that I jumped into the water for him. That is all I recall, that’s the only thing I can think of.

Alviarez's father, Juan Carlos Escotet, is the founder of Venezuelan bank Banesco and is worth a reported $3.5billion

Juan Carlos Escotet is Alviarez’s father and founder of Venezuelan Bank Banesco. He is reported to be worth $3.5billion

Later in the video – after Montero has been led away a second time after asking the location of her fiancée’s body – Milz can be heard wailing in the background: ‘I tried, I tried.’

Troy Hall, 26, a member of Otoro’s crew, can also be seen briefly in the footage. Milz is comforted by him.

Hall is also a Miami chef and dismissed reports that Montero had been accidentally thrown into the sea by Otoro’s skipper. This interview was conducted in an exclusive DailyMail.com interview just days after the horrifying incident.

He stated that Scotty was Captain and was not near Ms Montero during her crossing.

He was sitting in the cockpit and she was at her stern. The reports that he knocked her down are simply false. She may have gone overboard, but I don’t know how.

It’s a disaster. It’s a catastrophe.

Shortly before the interview, he posted on Instagram: ‘Still can’t wrap my head around what happened out there…

It’s difficult to see yourself moving from being the most happy you could be, winning the reef cup with good spirits, sharing stories (sic), laughing, and working hard every day.

“It all happened in seconds. The crew saw what was happening and it made us appreciate our lives.

He added, “Life is to (sic), short and anything could happen at any time and anywhere.” Everyone who has reached out to us, our crew and our family is greatly appreciated. We are all devastated by what happened so soon.

Leonardo Lombera Jr (34), who is also the owner of a boat charter business, was sixth on board.

Alviarez was associated with several multi-million-dollar addresses in Miami, including Pinecrest and Coconut Grove, the suburbs that Alviarez lived in. This is also the address Alviarez gave in his accident report to Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission.

Forbes reports that his father, Banesco, is valued at $3.5 billion.

Banesco described the bank heir as having a ‘vast knowledge in real estate development in Miami’.
