Now, the world’s largest infinity pool has opened – stunning photos suggest it will be extremely popular.
The world’s first infinity pool, “The Aura Skypool” in Dubai can be found on the 50th Floor of Palm Tower’s 52-storey Palm Jumeirah Island. It is located at a staggering 200m (or 656ft) above ground.
New photos prove that the boasts made by the creators of the “majestic Dubai Skyline” from the lagoon’s blue-tiled roof aren’t idle.
The Aura Skypool in Dubai is the highest infinity pool in the world, and it’s currently open.
Recently released photographs show that claims by the makers of the uninterrupted views of Dubai’s skyline from the blue tiled lagoon were not idle.
The 200m pool can be found on Palm Jumeirah Island’s 52-storey Palm Tower at 50th and 51st floors.
This photo shows how to get to the pool lined with blue-tiles on the tower’s south-facing side.
One photo shows steps that lead to the sea on the south side of the tower. On the pool deck of 750m2 (8,000 sq. ft), sun loungers are set up and low-back chairs can be seen. The skyscrapers of Dubai Marina, Ain Dubai observation wheel and other buildings are visible stretching into the distance.
Another photograph sees lines of sunbeds with ‘Aura’ towels and cushions bordering the pool, facing out on breathtaking views of the Palm Jumeirah archipelago.
Another shows a woman sitting on a chair and taking in the views from the waterside. Fourth, you will see a model taking in the view from the waterside as the night falls.
Sunset Hospitality will transport guests to Aura Skypool on the 50th floor using dedicated elevators.

They’ll step out into an area that’s divided into two ‘distinct yet complementary spaces’ – the pool deck and a bar-lounge.
A statement from Aura Skypool reads: ‘Home to chic yet comfortable custom-made sunbeds and lounges, guests are treated to a 360-degree swimming experience with a stunning backdrop to capture that picture-perfect photo.’
In designing this space, natural materials such as stone, concrete and cement were used. The statement adds: ‘Lush greenery and natural design elements fuse with high-end interior finishes, creating an elegant oasis fuelled by a socially energetic atmosphere.’

Low chairs and sun loungers are set up on the pool deck, which measures 750m2.
Aura Skypool says the deck is ‘home to chic yet comfortable custom-made’ furniture. The space was designed using natural materials like stone, concrete and cement.
In the lounge, visitors can order Pan-Asian dishes.
Craig Best, the head chef of Craig’s restaurant, has created these menus. They include sticky confit duck salad with glazed miso salmon, loaded-grilled cauliflower and a dessert sundae made from marinated pineapple.
A statement says the lounge and bar are ‘serving a menu inspired by the easy-going vibe of iconic Asian coastlines’, adding that ‘Aura is the ultimate spot for sophisticated, and yet fuss-free sharing style dishes paired with an electric atmosphere in the sky’.
Last month’s photos showed stunning views from the pool. The skyline is punctuated by the Burj Al Arab hotel, and Burj Khalifa.
Aura Skypool will allow guests to be taken up the 50th level in designated elevators.
The View At The Palm (located on the 52nd story) is two floors up. This 360-degree viewing deck opened its doors to the public in April.
The Palm Tower, which occupies the 18th floor of The Palm Tower, was the home to the St Regis Hotel. The hotel has 264 rooms and 26 suites. The hotel also contains 432 luxurious residences as well as a range of leisure and dining facilities.
The Palm Tower can be connected directly to Nakheel Mall which is a luxurious shopping center with 350 shops and restaurants.
Ahead of the opening, Antonio Gonzalez, CEO of Sunset Hospitality, said last month: ‘Aura is truly unlike any other destination in the UAE and the world.
