Affitive tried murderer mocks police by making his Facebook profile picture a gingerbread man, and saying how good looking his mugshot was

Police were taunted by a fugitive tried murderer who changed his profile photo to be a gingerbreadman on Facebook and said how beautiful his mugshot was. 

Michael Swansborough is being sought in connection to his recall to prison. He also threatened to “screen a real-life Hunted” on Instagram Live, referring to Channel 4’s fugitives program.

Kent Police has issued an appeal via social media for information last week in order to locate the suspect.

However, Swansborough commented on the Facebook post of his own custody picture, saying: ‘What a good looking fella.’

The comment received hundreds of likes, while the fugitive even had the audacity to like other people’s replies. 

Police say he has links to  Ashford, Thanet and Canterbury. 

Swansborough, despite his being on the run appears not to care about lying low.

In apparent reference to the anthem “Can’t Catch Me, I’m The Gingerbread Man”, he has changed his profile photo to one of a gingerbreadman, complete with smiley face, bow tie and bow tie.

Swansborough (19 years old) was sentenced in June 2009 to an indeterminate term of imprisonment after pleading guilty for the attempted murder a teenage girl.

Swansborough commented on a Kent Police Facebook post that included his mugshot, saying: 'What a good looking fella'

Swansborough posted a Kent Police post on Facebook that featured his mugshot and said: “What a handsome fella!”

After a night in Ashford (Kent), in 2008, he and his accomplice assaulted Lloyd Dawson Smith. He suffered a punctured lungs and multiple stab wounds.

Swansborough was ordered by a judge to serve at most five years in prison before he could be eligible for parole.

He stated that he was certain you pose a risk for further offenses in the future.

Swansborough posted a Facebook post last week threatening to’screen a true life Hunted’ on IG Live and’really embarrass” police if they kept ‘going at random addresses’ asking for any information about his whereabouts.

He also claimed his latest ordeal is ‘water off a duck’s back my friends’. 

Kent Police spokesperson said that Michael Swansborough was wanted for being recalled to jail.
