Sabina Nessa, a primary school teacher, was killed by a garage worker.
Koci Selamaj (36) traveled to London via Eastbourne on South Coast to execute what prosecution calls a “premeditated and prey” attack.
According to reports, he attacked Ms Nessa, 28, with a 2-foot-long weapon while she was walking through Cator Park, Kidbrooke in south-east London. She was on her way home from meeting a friend.
Nearly 24 hours after her death, Ms Nessa’s body was covered in grass. It was located near the community center in the park.
According to some, Ms. Nessa was attacked by a stranger.

Selamaj, a woman from Eastbourne in East Sussex was arrested and charged with murder.
Selamaj (an Albanian national) appeared in court on Thursday to answer questions and receive directions.
While in custody, the defendant entered a formal plea of not guilty to murder.
He did however indicate that he took responsibility for the murder of Ms Nessa.
Family members of victims sat at the courthouse a few meters from defendants in the dock, who were assisted by an Albanian interpreter.
At a September candlelit vigil, around 200 people came together in Eastbourne (East Sussex) to remember the teacher and to protest the “crisis against women”.
Bearded Selamaj, a bearded man wearing a grey T-shirt and a facemask, only spoke to confirm his identity, and then enter his plea.
A senior judge, Mr Justice Wall has set up a second hearing for next February 25th.
He proposed a date of June 7th next year for a trial and suggested it could go on for up to five more weeks.
The defendant was placed in custody.
