Ghislaine Maxill has suggested that she call on a psychologist, who is reputed to have testified at major sexual assault cases, like those of Harvey Weinstein.
Jeffrey Epstein’s ex, Maxwell, is allegedly Maxwell’s girlfriend. She allegedly suggested that Elizabeth Loftus, the psychologist, be called in as a witness for her forthcoming trial.
Loftus is a psychologist and writer. According to the Los Angeles Times, Loftus has testified in more than 300 cases, including those of Ted Bundy, Weinstein and OJ Simpson.
She failed to convince the jury that Annabella Sciorra’s memory was defective at Weinstein’s trial. Sciorra charged him with rape during the early 1990s.
Loftus has spent years researching the malleability of human memory and often claims in court that memories are wrong or distorted.
Loftus stated that the world is filled with people who are supportive of accusers in 2020 interviews with The Los Angeles Times. “I believe that people accused of crimes deserve some support.”
Elizabeth Loftus, aged 77, is a participant in over 300 trials. She has also conducted thorough research on the unreliability and reliability of memories
Ghislaine Maxwell (59), is said to have proposed Loftus calling Loftus at the upcoming trial.
Maxwell was charged with sexual assault after she allegedly groomed teenagers for Jeffrey Epstein.
She has also allegedly called on Park Dietz, a forensic psychiatrist who has worked on the Jeffrey Dahmer trial.
Loftus studied memory repression, the unreliability of witnesses accounts, and used this against survivors of sexual assault to back the claim that Loftus did not stop the victim from testifying.
Loftus’ research on inconsistent memories was used by Bundy to highlight that Carol DaRonch, whom Bundy drove into her Volkswagen Beetle but managed to escape, had inconsistencies both in her original description and later.
Bundy was dressed up as a police officer during the attack on DaRonch. Witness accounts showed that Bundy added color to her description of his police badge after she received a photo from authorities. His car changed from being white or light-blue to actually beige.
Loftus said that Loftus was speaking at the time, “When people are afraid of their memories falling and sliding, neglecting details or rearranging facts,”
Jeffery Epstein dated Maxwell. She was charged with sexual assault after allegedly grooming teenage girls for her ex-boyfriend.
‘When we remember, we pull pieces of the past out of some mysterious region in the brain – jagged pieces that we sort and shift, arrange and rearrange until they fit into a pattern that makes sense…it is part fact, part fiction, a warped and twisted reconstruction of reality.’
Time’s Up is a feminist movement that was popularized by the large number of women who came forward, as well as having major celebrity support such Emma Watson, Reese Witherspoon, and Meryl Steep. Loftus’ false memory work has been called a tool used for discrediting survivors of sexual abuse over decades.
False Memory Syndrome has not been recognized by the American Psychological Association. [an] accepted diagnostic term.’
Loftus has worked on numerous trials, including convicted rapist Harvey Weinstein (pictured), where she failed to convince the jury of his witness Annabella Sciorra’s memory was defective
OJ Simpson and Ted Bundy were also assisted by the psychologist. The defensive in Bundy’s trial used her study on the unreliability of memory between initial and recalled memory of Carol DaRonch, who Bundy attacked in her car while he dressed as a police officer
Maxwell will be tried in court on Nov 29th. She is currently being housed at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, New York, where she has been for almost 500 days.
According to her family, she suffered physical abuse from her guards last week.
Interviewers were told by Ian Maxwell, her brother that his sister had suffered ‘physical abuse from the guards’.
Sky News said that Ghislaine doesn’t give black eyes to herself. “I believe she was subject to some physical abuse from her guards.”

He said that his sister has been denied pre-trial releases despite the fact she lost 15 pounds, and her imprisonment making it more difficult for her to put together a defense.
Sky News reported that he said, “It’s intended to break her.” It’s just wrong. This is a gross violation of human rights. That is quite alarming.
She also claimed recently that during a hearing this week, a guard waited until he was alone with her and became ‘verbally threatening’.
The guard allegedly said: ‘You think you are special? Your situation isn’t unique. Remember you are in custody and the judge doesn’t care about you.’
Maxwell’s lawyer claimed that her ‘disturbing’ treatment meant she should be released immediately.
The multiple requests she made for bail pre-trial, which were granted to other defendants in high-profile cases like Weinstein or former Minneapolis officer Derek Chauvin has been rejected.
The federal judge mentioned her citizenship in 3 countries, and the immense wealth she made as a flight threat.
