Yesterday, an Indian farmer was shocked to discover that his goat gave birth yesterday to a child with the “face of a person” which neighbors described as a warning from God.

Shakar Das (46), a farmer, had several children with his goat. Assam, a northeastern Indian state.

Locals were stunned when the second child emerged from its hiding place with a disfigured, swelling face, which looked almost like a human head. 

Shakar stated that although the goat had many deformities it was still born healthy. The two-legged, crippled leg and under-developed hindquarters left Shakar with little to no hope of survival. 

Locals in India believe that the deformed birth of an animal is a sign of bad fortune or bad luck.

Shakar stated that the neighbours ran to Shakar’s house. Everybody was shocked at its sight. 

Neighbour Rakesh K Kumar said: “In many places, it’s considered to be a warning.

“People see the mutations in the births of children as a sign from God.”

Shakar said the goat was born alive despite its considerable deformities, which left it with only two crippled legs and shriveled, under-developed hind quarters, but later died.

Neighbour Rakesh Kumar said: 'In many areas, it's considered as a warning. 'The people see the mutant births as the sign from God.'
