Many Civil Service job applicants declare themselves to be neuro-diverse and ask for special dispensation. This includes working remotely and taking time off to visit therapists.

According to a source, job seekers who are applying for the Fast Stream program are becoming more neurodivergent and requesting different work patterns.

Whitehall employees recently created a UK Civil Service Neurodiversity Network that aims to “challenge unconscious biases towards neurodiversity”.

According to a source, job hunters who are enrolled in the Fast Stream program are becoming more neurodivergent and requesting different work patterns.

“Volunteer-led communities” states that approximately one in seven Americans are neuro-divergent. That is, their brains function, learn and process information differently.

It stated that its mission was to “create a safe environment for everyone who is neurodiverse, to be themselves.”

Data on the number of Civil Service Fast Stream Candidates that are neuro-diverse was released by Government officials.

Some departments are organizing seminars on neuro-diversity, what it means to civil servants and line managers.

On the Government’s Website, one description stated: “It is highly probable that you or someone working with you contribute to the neurodiversity in our workforce.”
