The aerial photos show a flash of flames at Guy Ritchie’s London pub. This was the second incident in six months.

At 11.20am, firefighters responded to a call from the Lore of the Land, Fitzrovia in central London when flames had engulfed the balcony.

Firefighters managed to control the situation to the balcony, which was a blessing for the Lock Stock & Two Smoking Barrels film director.

Crews arrived at the pub on Conway Street to put out the flames in about 40 minutes.

The blaze that engulfed the building today came six months after it suffered a massive roof fire on June 23, 2013.

First responders were forced to vomit after the fire erupted. Lore of the Land was home to approximately 70 firefighters, 10 fire engines and 10 rescue vehicles. The first fire broke out at the pub Lore of the Land. According to some reports the fire originated in the extraction system that runs from the first floor up the roof vent.

Witnesses said that the pub’s back appeared significantly damaged.

A local photographer captured photos of the balconies in flames while firefighters battled the fire.

Also, video footage shows that the balcony was continuously smoking even after the fire had been quickly put out. Thick clouds were also visible evaporating in the air.

Witnesses said that it wasn’t as bad as the previous fire which destroyed the entire pub roof in June of last year.

It is thought that the initial fire started in the kitchen. Around 70 firefighters and ten fire engines arrived on the scene to put out the flames.

London Fire and Rescue Service confirms they responded to the most recent fire. However, further information will be made available in the coming days.

Dozens of firefighters were seen close by to the pub and getting their uniforms on at the scene of the fire that happened last year

Numerous firefighters could be seen near the pub, getting ready for the last-year’s firefighting mission.

A local resident spoke out about the recent fire saying that he heard “pops” and believed it to be fireworks. However, he saw the flames on the balcony when he went outside to check.

“My first thought was, “Oh God it’s happening again!” However, it soon became apparent that the fire was not as severe as the previous one.

“Fire fighters arrived at 11:20am, and were gone by noon, much to my relief.

The fire seemed to have started on the balcony by an electric device. But it is not likely that it has been controlled to this area.

“I’m hoping that there isn’t any serious damage to his pub.”

For comment, Mr Ritchie and his representatives were contacted by the pub.
