Goop Inc Limited was responsible for the UK sales of Hollywood Star’s eccentric lifestyle line, but it has not been able to capture the attention of Brits.
Paperwork for the 49-year-old Oscar-winning actress’ UK firm reveals that losses went up by £400,000 in 2020, the first year of the pandemic.

The company had £1.3 million in assets but owed creditors £2.7 million leaving the big losses.
Goop closed its flagship store in 2020. She also announced last year that UK Goop Inc will cease trading due to the growing losses.
The Covid-19 lockdown is not mentioned in a financial report. However, figures for the previous year show that it caused major financial problems.

Gwyneth (the Shakespeare in Love actress) launched Goop in 2008, while she lived in London with Chris Martin, Coldplay’s lead singer.
She closed the shop that she opened near her West London home when she launched her business last year.
Her old marital name was Ms. G. Martin. She continues to sign off paperwork for the company.
Shuttered now: Goop closed its flagship store in 2020. Last year, Goop Inc stated that it would close all trading operations for the UK Goop Inc business due to rising losses.
Gwyneth has shared her thoughts on health and well-being through Goop. She also promotes and sells a variety of products including this Smells Like My Orgasm candle. This Smells Like My Vagina was her second.
The health and well being empire is reported to be worth £200 million worldwide, but it has not been a big success in the UK.
Goop opened the first permanent Goop store in Los Angeles in 2018.
