The other half of their lives were captured on Instagram by Princess Maria Olympia (25) and her family. They spent Christmas at an exclusive hotel, enjoying the snowy St Moritz. Prince Charles’ goddaughter India Hicks (54), hosted a luxurious al-fresco Christmas party in the sunnier Bahamas.

The Duke and Duchess, of Rutland, and the Manners family quaffed champagne at the Belvoir Castle in Leicestershire before setting off for a feast in the grand dining room.
