Google searches for winter dry skin up 70% this week. It’s obvious that many people are searching for solutions to their cold-weather concerns. We spoke with Alice Henshaw (skin expert, owner of Harley Street Injectables) to learn her top tips for winter skin care and to recommend products.

Alice shares with us her favorite skincare products and tips for keeping dry skin at bay during winter.

1. Use gentle cleansers

Cleansing your skin, regardless of whether you are wearing makeup, is the most important step in any skincare regimen. In the winter, it is especially important to use a cleanser which helps maintain the skin’s natural oils.

Alice says that switching to a mild based gel or balm can make a big difference for your skin. Make sure you switch to formulated oatmeal and chamomile face washes.

Alice says that gentle cleansing products should not irritate skin. She recommends Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser.
