Alice states that Winter can be very harsh on the skin. It leaves it looking tired and dull. It is as simple as changing up your skincare routine to use richer, nourishing products.

Elle adds that’my simple skincare tips can help balance and restore your skin and help it survive winter.

Alice shares with us her favorite skincare products and tips for keeping dry skin at bay during winter.

1. Use gentle cleansers

Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser £7.50

Cleansing your skin, regardless of whether you are wearing makeup, is the most important step in any skincare regimen. In the winter, it is especially important to use a cleanser which helps maintain the skin’s natural oils.

Alice says that switching to a mild based gel or balm can make a big difference for your skin. Make sure you switch to formulated oatmeal and chamomile face washes.

Alice says that gentle cleansing products should not irritate skin. She recommends Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser.

Cetaphil, she says, is an excellent option because it won’t strip the skin of its natural oils. These are essential for protecting overall moisture. It is gentle on skin, won’t cause itching and can be used post-treatment.

2.  You can try a hydrating therapy

Juvéderm Volite Skin Booser, available at

Alice suggests injectable hydration with hyaluronic acids skin boosters for those struggling to get rid of dull, lackluster skin.

Alice states that central heating can dry out your skin and the air around it. For a glowing complexion and to minimize wrinkles, the skin requires moisture.

To combat winter dryness, consider injecting Hyaluronic acids such as Juvederm Volite. This innovative injection treatment improves skin quality and lasts up to nine month.

“This is not a skin filler,” she emphasizes. It’s a Hyaluronic acid gel (HA) for skin conditioning. To nourish the skin from the inside, Volite is injected into the middle layer of the dermis at many locations. Volite is safe for all skin types.

3. You can add a facial mask to your daily routine

Skincycles Hydrating Bio-Cellulose Silk Mask (Box of 5), £80

Skincycles Silk-cellulose Hydrating Mask By Alice by Alice can be used when you need to pamper your skin. This mask is great for plumping, hydrating, and revitalizing dull skin.

These hydrating masques, which are clinically inspired, contain tiny molecules of hyaluronic Acid that can penetrate deep into the skin’s layers for greater results.

Alice states that we know hyaluronic acids (HA) are a crucial ingredient. This clever natural acid can hold 1000x its weight in water to immediately hydrate skin thirsty.

“The key anti-ageing ingredient Palmitoyl Hexapeptide-12, which dramatically increases collagen and hyaluronic acids in the skin, is also found in these masks. Agave and Ruby Formosa are other antioxidant ingredients that promote moisture, firmness and lifting of the skin.

For best results, Alice recommends using the excess serum in the packet over the neck and décolletage – an area of our skin that’s often neglected.

4. Bath oils can be used instead of soap bubbles

Ren Atlantic Kelp and Microalgae Anti-Fatigue Bath Oil, 110ml, now £21.75 was £29

Alice suggests that you use a couple of drops of oil to moisturize dry skin. Some bubble bath formulas can be irritating to the skin.

Ren Atlantic Kelp & Microalgae anti-fatigue bath oil contains natural oils such as microalgae and Atlantic kelp, and omegas 6 & 9, which are high in fatty acid to maintain healthy skin and moisturize dry skin.

5. Dry your skin

Elemis Body Detox Skin Brush, £21

Alice advises that you use a bodybrush to enhance skin texture and color before you go for a shower. The brush will help increase circulation, exfoliate dead skin, and improve your skin’s tone.

Alice says that dry brushing can be used to exfoliate dry winter skin. Dry brushing is great for exfoliating dry winter skin. It also unclogs pores and promotes drainage.

“It makes you feel great because it stimulates your nervous system. This can make you feel invigorated, just as a massage does.
