A social media video captures fans asking Travis Scott to stop Friday’s Astroworld Festival crowd surge, which left hundreds of people injured and eight dead.

Video circulating on Twitter showed the crowd chanting ‘stop the show’ as concertgoers were being knocked down and crushed by other attendees.

“Fans were recording and CPR being done by CPR-ers, while people did CPR.” People were screaming at stage staff, demanding that they stop performing the concert because people are dying. Madeline Eskins (ICU nurse, concert-goer) said to Rolling Stone that nobody listened.

“It was absolutely crowded. The crowd was crazy. I knew it was just way too crowded – it just got worse and worse as I got closer to Travis Scott performing it got more crowded, more crowded, more crowded.’

Additionally, she shared with us that while they were not at fault for the tragedy and the inexperienced medical personnel involved are to be blamed.

Eskins wrote on Instagram, “Some of these doctors had very little experience with CPR-they didn’t know what to do to check a pulse or carotid.”

“Compressions were done without doing a pulse check. This meant that people with pulses received CPR. But there wasn’t enough staff to continue performing compressions on pulseless individuals. The medical staff did not have the right tools and even though the crowd tried to get them to stop, they kept on going despite Travis acknowledging that someone needed an ambulance.

Scott, 29 years old, continued performing after eight victims were killed by their own hands – two of them just 14-year-olds – in what one witness called a “floor of bodies”.

Scott called for assistance at one point, even though he had completed the 75 minute performance. He was also seen standing on a platform holding his microphone as chaos below him.

After the performance, the rapper could be seen sobbing. Page Six was told by a source that the rapper had no idea what was happening and was performing onstage.

He was so confused, I had never seen him act like that. The source said that he was crying.

The Astroworld Houston event was attended by approximately 50,000 people. Witnesses claim chaos broke out as Scott began to perform.

ICU nurse Madeline Eskins (pictured) - who was attending Astroworld Festival for the third time - argued that although they are not to blame for the tragedy, the event's medical staff were apparently unprepared and inexperienced

Madeline Eskins, ICU nurse, was attending Astroworld Festival (pictured). She claimed that the ICU staff aren’t to blame.

Eskins, who said this was her third time attending Astroworld, said she thought she was going to die: ‘I looked at my boyfriend and I was about to tell my boyfriend to tell my son I loved him because I did not think I would make it out of there. Und I fainted.

“I tried to leap as high as possible to gain air. It was impossible to breathe. I just felt it. It was there.

Donovon Davis (22 years old) of Houston said that “Everything was just fine up to the point when Travis announced his time on stage.” It was then that it got wild.

“The crowd moved so fast that people fell onto us and people on top of them.” The people fell in layers upon layers.

Davis said, “I turned to grab him and could hear his screams for help.” But the music had not started. Now the music started to get louder and I was moved by the people who were walking over me.

A police investigation into a fatal crush has revealed that a mad man infused at least one person during the disorder with opioids.

Troy Finner was the Houston Chief Police Officer. He made this astonishing claim after hours of gossip about Astroworld Fest. The Mayor of Houston Sylvester Turner had revealed that the victims ranged in age from 14 to 27.

Eskins described her experience at Atsroworld on Instagram. She offered specific examples of how the medical staff allegedly handled the chaos

Eskins posted a picture of her Atsroworld visit on Instagram. Eskins shared specific details about how she and the medical staff handled the chaos.

“One narrative was that an individual had been injecting others with drugs. At Saturday’s conference, Troy Finner from Houston, Chief of Police said that there was a report about a security agent.

“He reached over to grab or restrain a citizen, and felt something in his neck.

They administered Narcan to him after he became unconscious. The medical personnel noticed a similar prick to what you might get from an injector. He was then revived.

Although it is not clear what drug was administered to the security guards, Narcan can be used to revive those who have overdosed on opioids such as fentanyl.

It has not been reported that concertgoers were given drugs.

The cause of the fatal crush, which also injured 25 others, remains undetermined. There have been no further developments on the arrest of the needle-stabber.

Houston Chief of Police Troy Finner announced during a press conference Saturday (pictured) that a crazed man injected at least one person with opioids during the chaos. It also remains unclear if that incident was connected to the deadly crush that also left 25 in hospital

Houston Chief of Police Troy Finner announced during a press conference Saturday (pictured) that a crazed man injected at least one person with opioids during the chaos. However, it is not clear if this incident occurred during the same deadly crush that left 25 people in hospital.

On Friday night, hundreds of people were seen rushing through the VIP entry without being stopped, raising fears about overcrowding.

As chaos ensued, Scott appeared to look in the direction passed out fans. Scott was captured calling out for security help to the front row fans who were in trouble.

Mayor Turner indicated that the investigation continues with the police’s homicide and drug teams, and added that the local government was also in contact with representatives of Live Nation Worldwide as well as Live Nation Entertainment.

Turner indicated that Turner was likely to be there for quite some time to find out what exactly happened.
