I’m A Celebrity bosses have described the damage caused by Storm Arwen a ‘£1million disaster’ as the show was kept off air for its third night running on Monday.
Producers of ITV said that it was “the worst scenario” to lose three episodes.
This seven-figure amount was also caused by advertising revenues lost and staffing expenses. Team members worked around the clock in an effort to solve the problems.

A show source revealed to The Sun: ‘It’s been a complete nightmare of a weekend.
“Some expensive equipment was severely damaged by the storm. It wasn’t just a couple of marquees that were blown over.
“Everyone works every hour of the day – with hired workers that means more pay. It’s been described on site as the £1million disaster. It’s been an expensive few days to say the least.’

After Storm Arwen, which battered Abergele and Gwrych Castle, on Saturday, celebrities were evacuated to Conwy.
They went back to quarantine after spending two weeks there before entering the camp.
In a new Instagram video on Monday, hosts Ant and Dec reiterated that the I’m A Celebrity team ‘worked around the clock, 24/7, to get the site back up and ready and safe’ ahead of the show’s return on Tuesday November 30.

ITV announced Monday that its flagship program would no longer be broadcast after Storm Arwen ravaged Gwrych Castle, where it is filmed.
