He stated, “I love you so very much. This is Lorraine’s set-up Lorraine. You’re my best friend!

“The reason I did it was not to be just Aaron Emmerdale’s person, but I was also my country. Steph was the reason I did it, her and Albert… I’m speechless, this is the worst interview you’re ever going to give in your life.

“Steph told me to show everybody what I know about them so I did.”

“This show provided me with the financial security I needed to make it happen and it’s not something that I regret. This show gave me the financial security to do it… I can’t believe I’m meeting him. He is amazing!

Steph held their son and replied “He is seven weeks today.” Danny, how have we missed you? We just wanted you to return home. You are loved so deeply, and we love you. We can’t WAIT to meet you!

“He was my father figure in that place,” he said. His presence kept me calm. Steph was always the one who instilled confidence in me.

“David” was a hero to me as a child. He inspired me to get the No 14 shirt, and to play left and right on the wings!

Happy! As Steph and Albert appeared on screen on the daytime TV show, Danny put his head in his heads and became overwhelmed with emotion

Lorraine then asked Steph to explain why Danny won. She replied, “As soon as Danny went in, we knew that he would win. If he showed us who he really is, because he’s the most authentic, down-to-earth amazing human being.

“He’s an incredible person!”

Earlier on Monday morning Danny also spoke to Good Morning Britain after being crowned King of The Castle on this year’s I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here.

Ranvir Singh and AdilRay were told by the star and super-fan of the show that he is still on cloud nine after winning.

Surprise! He said: 'I love you so much. I wasn’t expecting this, this is a set up Lorraine, you’ve got me!' as Steph and Albert appeared

Surprise! Surprise! It was unexpected, Lorraine has set me up, it’s all I expected. Steph and Albert were there

Ranvir asked Danny I’m A Celeb Superfan Danny about his experience.

Danny commented, “It was an absolute nightmare. There was tension from beginning to end. I was fortunate that David Ginola was there for me all through.

It’s something you won’t be able to get rid of. I am used to the camera. However, having a 24-hour-a-day camera with you throughout your day is not an easy task. David Ginola was always there for me and didn’t allow me to go.

Ranvir asked: ‘You do have a wife and a newborn baby, but it was David Ginola who got you through this…?’

He laughed and said, “It’s an important point. Yeah, I forgot about them!” He said, “The reason I did it was to make my future wife and baby Albert happy. However, David Ginola was also a part of my life. And he is the reason why I survived it.” I was able to get through it thanks to him.

When he decided to let his son go to the show, he said that Albert was six weeks old. He has not yet been seen by me. I am eager to return to him today. I can’t wait for him to come into my arms, and we will finally see each other again after what feels like an eternity.

Ranvir replied, “Well, it’s a life time for him. Isn’t that?” Ranvir asked.

Danny said, “Fortunately for him, he has no idea. But unfortunately for me, I have missed him.” “He will not know, but I do and I’ll make sure that he knows.

Adil asked, “What is it like to go to sleep at night when the cameras stop rolling and you are on your own?

“I retract everything I have ever said about celebrities being home sick and crying on television after days two, three, and four. I was crying 18 hours in to the show thinking: “What did I do?”

“I had no idea what I was signing up for.” My family was the most important thing to me. Since day one I had felt homesick. Because I did not know what the show was about, only people who signed up for it realize.

Danny said that he tried to get over David Ginola all week but he refused. He bottled my desire for a cuddle, and spoon. He has it, and I don’t have it.
