An Indian wealthy teacher constructed a home which looks identical to the Taj Mahal’s smaller version as a wedding gift.
Anand Prakash Chouksey (52), is from Burhanpur and has constructed a massive marble house that looks a lot like the mausoleum of 17th-century Burhanpur.
This house is roughly one-third as large as the original and spans 10,000 square feet. It has four bedrooms, one hallway, and a library.
Chouksey refused to reveal the price of the home and said that he wanted to build a distinctive house in small towns. There are many new homes built each year, but he wanted one that would be the talking point of town.
A Taj Mahal-replica was built by an Indian teacher as a gift for his wife. This replica is one-third as large as the original.
It is approximately one-third the size of its predecessor and covers 10,000 feet. There are four bedrooms and one hall.
