Unbelievably, a brawl took place in public in front shocked motorists. A knife-wielding victim was left bleeding and bruised. He had also been hit with multiple weapons, including a shovel.
After a brawl that erupted between two women, reportedly former partners and the new boyfriend of the woman, police were dispatched to Deer Park’s Station Road and Ballarat Road intersection at 4:00 PM on Sunday afternoon.
Video footage shows the scene as a vehicle pulls over on the strip, already stained with blood. The male driver then gets out holding a large knife.
Footage from the Melbourne incident shows a woman hitting the driver with her shovel (pictured).
The woman appears, and lunges at him, an older man in his 50s.
Gasping can be heard from witnesses.
The second man appears next with another weapon, which appears to be an object’s metal handle. He strikes the other man with it before he continues with several punches.
One point, the man who was first knocked unconscious with a hit from the mystery weapon is struck again, this time while still motionless. He is then pulled along the ground.
Motorists shout for the couple to slow down and honk their horns, while the woman gathers the weapons before she walks off.
It was remarkable that no one was injured in the altercation, with the one-man driver driving to the hospital and the other being detained at the scene by police.
Before the accident unfolds, blood can be clearly seen on the vehicle (pictured).
Chloe is believed to be aiding investigators.
According to her, the knife-wielding man is her estranged dad. The woman holding the knife and the man with the gun are her mother’s boyfriend.
9News reported that she was out for dinner when she witnessed the attack on the roads. She said she has never seen anything similar.
The investigation continues, but no charges have been filed.
