Influencer Jess Hunt has responded to allegations she Photoshopped herself in front of the Eiffel Tower in an Instagram post that went viral earlier this week.
The British model was accused of doctoring a video and photos of herself posing in a skimpy dress on the Pont d’Iéna, the bridge that leads to the world-famous Parisian landmark.
When contacted for comment by Daily Mail Australia on Wednesday, Jess stood her ground and insisted the post was genuine.

She stated that these photos weren’t Photoshopped. She was actually there. “I even have a video of me standing in front of the Eiffel tower on my Instagram post.”
Jess looked like she was strutting down the busy road while the Eiffel Tower twinkled behind her. Her video was uploaded Monday.
However, sleuths with keen eyes soon saw several clues that suggested that she had actually superimposed her body in front.

She said that the photos were not Photoshopped and she was there in person. “I even have a video of me standing in front of the Eiffel tower on my Instagram post.”
Jess wrote, “One of my favorite cities,” in her caption, and added three twinkling Emojis.
Celeb Spellcheck poked fun at what many thought was an obvious editing failure, and re-shared Jess’ post with the caption: “Virtual tourist.”
Celeb Spellcheck’s fans were quick to criticize the influencer, with one commenting that she too uses Photoshop for travel.

Others pointed out the so-called embarrassing mistakes in Jess’ post, with several claiming the lack of shadows made it look like she was in front of a green screen.
One follower wrote: “She’s literally got any shadow anywhere,” while another added: “Her feet seem to be floating.”
Others noticed that Jess looked unnaturally crisp in the footage, and that her feet looked out of proportion to the lines along the road.

Reposing the image, Jess wrote: ‘OH MY GOD, that is my body and my house but who’s face is that? This catfish game is getting ridiculous.

Hunt was horrified to learn that her image had been stolen. However, she was impressed by the seamless Photoshopping at work and said her image was like art’.
Catfishing refers to the act of stealing an entire picture, often to attract online dates.
Jessica’s body was the only one that was used in this instance. The model had posed in the sparkly-green frock five weeks ago. She was seen walking up and down in her kitchen in an Instagram video.
Some people were a bit cynical, however, with one user suggesting the image has been re-posted from the company that made her dress.
User wrote, “Gorgeous gown, Perfect PR”.
