A British grandmother that shocked This Morning viewers when she shared graphic detail of her sexual antics with her Egyptian boyfriend 46 year her junior, has revealed compared being kept apart from him to ‘death’.

Iris Jones, 82-year-old from Weston-super-Mare has made a vow to travel to Egypt with her husband, Mohamed Ahmed Ibriham (36), if he is denied a visa.

Iris, who met Mohamed on Facebook in 2019 before flying to Egypt to be with him before marrying each other in November 2020, described her ‘unbelievable’ heartache as the pandemic keeps the couple apart while they wait for the home  office to decide whether he will be allowed to move to Britain.

The couple’s relationship came to the forefront when Iris, who was discussing the large age gap on ITV’s This Morning, revealed details of their sex life.

Iris told The Sun that she is very sad for her husband and said that it was a terrible feeling. What will happen when we meet is all we are discussing now. 

‘If he didn’t get a visa it would feel like the end of the world. It’s like he’s dead but he’s not dead — just missing.’

She said, “I don’t have age on my side.” I could be dead tomorrow. Every day is precious. It’s awful to be apart.

According to The Home Office, Mohammed’s visa should be approved by the Home Office by November 4.

He initially shared his love for her on social media. Then he said his feelings were confirmed when Iris met him at Cairo airport. November

MailOnline spoke to him earlier this year. He said: ‘I was very nervous, but the moment she laid eyes on me I knew that it had been true love. It’s a blessing to have found such a beautiful woman.

Mohamed was a welder inspector, but he decided to spend more time with Iris after she arrived in Cairo. 

He lives in a three-room home with his parents, two sisters, and a brother. They are all younger than him. However, he vehemently denies that he was with Iris for money or a passport.

Mohamed said, “I don’t care if she’s rich or poor, I just want to be there with Iris.” She can choose to call Egypt or Britain her home.

People think I am with her for all of the wrong reasons. I know that Britain is beautiful and many people want to visit there, but I’m not bothered. I’m ready to live with her anyplace in the world.

Mohamed shared that he brought Iris home for dinner during his visit to Egypt. She spent time with his mother.

‘My mother loved Iris, and they got along well despite a language barrier. My mother said to me that if she’s happy, then I’m happy. Mothers want their son to be with the woman he truly loves.
