Yesterday, Jeremy Clarkson fans created chaos in traffic as queues formed at the Diddly Squat Farm Shop.

On the Saturday prior to Christmas, hundreds of vehicles lined the grass verges. People could be seen waiting in long lines at the Chadlington farm shop as they tried to sell their goods.

A visitor described the shop’s parking lot as “sea ofmud” due to poor weather conditions and the large number of vehicles. He suggested the shop change its name to Diddly Squelch.

Clarkson’s Farm has been a huge hit on Amazon Prime, resulting in long queues at the Diddly Squat Farm Shop on numerous occasions. Neighbors are becoming more concerned by the amount of traffic that it draws.

According to the shop, it is a “small barn with no-nonsense goods you’ll love”.

People were seen in long queues as they took advantage of the last weekend before Christmas

As they enjoyed the weekend that was just before Christmas, people were seen standing in line for hours.

Many fans have waited for more than two and a half hours to be allowed into the Diddly Squat Shop since the launch the Amazon Prime hit show in early 2018. This was much to the dismay of some neighbours.

Yesterday’s photos show that poor weather conditions and high numbers of cars turned the parking lot into a mud pool for anyone who was lucky enough to park there, while others were parked nearby on grassy verges.

Police were called out to manage traffic chaos in June, caused by hundreds of Jeremy Clarkson fans descending on his farm in the hope of meeting him and to check out his stock, which includes honey, chutney and T-shirts.

Villagers have varying opinions about the effects of this shop opening less than one year ago. Some say it put Chadlington in the spotlight and has boosted the local economy.

Some have also warned of the dangers of traffic jams caused by this shop.

Last week, Clarkson’s neighbours charged him with violating the planning rules at Diddly Squat by selling out-of town souvenirs.

Anger at the TV presenter’s plans to increase his operations at his farm continued to rise.

Locals stepped up the fight to block the former Top Gear host in his bid for a new car park and café on the site with a total of 52 formal objections now lodged with the council.

To appease an increasing number of objectionors, Clarkson’s representatives were forced to modify transport plans.

Yet, locals have not been satisfied by the action. There are a number of new objections that were recently raised against the application.

Many people are concerned about increased traffic, which has been the subject of many complaints. The amended plans however haven’t addressed this problem according to locals.

Official letters supporting the application were submitted by 12 individuals.
