Kate and the Duke of Cambridge joined senior Royal Family members for last night’s Christmas carol service.
Notably, Kate’s entire family was there, marking the second time they have made an appearance at a prominent royal event within a short period of time after their Royal Variety Performance at Royal Albert Hall.
Kate, 39, invited her parents Carole and Michael, sister Pippa, 38, brother James, 34, and his fashionable French wife Alizée Thevenet to the important event, alongside the Countess of Wessex and William’s cousins Zara Tindall, Princess Eugenie and Princess Eugenie.
The Middletons are extremely tight-knit, with James and Alizée even spending lockdown at his parents’ Berkshire home, and have remained close even as Kate has ascended the ranks of the royal family.
Carole, Michael, and William are important in their lives as Prince George and Princess Charlotte’s grandparents. William has been a constant supporter of Carole since high school. Kate and William also showed their support for James’s recent marriage to Alizée, by making the journey to her home country of France for the low-key nuptials.
The Middletons’ quick attendance at the two main royal events could indicate Kate’s desire to include her entire family in royal life as William and Kate continue to hold more senior roles within The Firm.

As she was escorting Prince William, 39, to the event, Kate, a mother-of-three, wore a red coat dress with large bows across the bodice.
The coat dress, thought to be worth around £3,000, is a new ensemble for the Duchess, who previously wore a black version of the coat to attend Prince Philip ‘s funeral in April.

The event, which will be hosted and led by The Duchess and supported by The Royal Foundation is a tribute to individuals and organizations across the UK that supported communities during the COVID-19 epidemic.

The broadcast-ready service is a chance for all Americans to reflect on the incredible challenges they have experienced and to also celebrate the kindnesses that have been shown across the country, including the community efforts to care for and protect those most in need and the willingness to assist others.
This service is designed to blend traditional elements with modern touches to make it inclusive of people from all faiths. The carols will be sung live by the Westminster Abbey choir, and musical performances by Leona and Ellie Goulding.
The program will also include performances of To The Day and Kate Garraway readings.

The presence of individuals who The Duke & Duchess had the pleasure to meet and spend time with in their engagements or project work, and those that are working in certain key areas which Their Royal Highnesses as well As The Royal Foundation will allow them to be alongside others.
