  • Talked about the feeling that you are always being watched, which is felt by people who are extremely famous
  • Actress was just 18 when the Twilight franchise plunged her into the spotlight

She became a superstar at the age of 18, after her role in Twilight and her real-life romance, Robert Pattinson, pushed her into the limelight.

Kristen Stewart said that the extreme fame she has had helps her understand the pressure Princess Diana felt when she was preparing for her role in Spencer.

The 31-year-old actress told The Sunday Times: ‘It’s feeling constantly watched, no matter what you do. If you’re in public, someone in the room is looking at you at all times.

‘Even if they’re not, it’s at the back of your mind. That is a feeling you only have if you’re extremely famous. It’s a completely different approach to being a human,’ she admitted.

Kristen Stewart has said the extreme level of fame she has experienced help her have some personal understanding of the pressure Princess Diana (pictured in 1989) most likely felt as she prepared for her role as the royal in Spencer

Kristen was turned into ‘paparazzi gold’ thanks to the vampire franchise, which made $3.3 billion at the box office, and had to deal with the added pressure of the internet and users’ obsessions.

When she was asked about Diana’s fame, she said that while there is a parallel, it was the cumulative expectation. It is not remotely.

Kristen did admit that it was weird to ‘live in a space with people who are disappointed in your choices’. She then said that she tried to be a role-model or figurehead.

Spencer focuses his attention on a fictionalized Sandringham gathering at Christmas 1991 when Princess Diana is at her peak of fame and about to separate from Prince Charles.

The trailer for the movie’s premiere was released last week, featuring Kristen’s rendition on the late Royal accent.

The short clip was shot in 1991 and released on November 5. It featured the Hollywood star walking the Sandringham Estate grounds at Christmas as her marriage to Prince Charles fell apart.

The screenplay, written by Steven Knight (an English screenwriter) follows the moments Diana realizes she must’veer away from a path that puts herself in-line to oneday be Queen.

A similar Christmas was shown on The Crown’s latest season, where Emma Corrin won widespread critical acclaim.

Kristen rose to international prominence as Bella Swan, a character in the film adaptations Stephenie Meyer’s Twilight book series.

She was also famous for her real-life relationship with Robert, which took place between 2008 and 2012.

Famously, she was photographed kissing Rupert Sanders, her then-married Snow White and The Huntsman director, in public during a time when Robert was an item.

Kristen has been dating St. Vincent, a musician, and Stella Maxwell since then. She is currently dating Dylan Meyer, a screenwriter.
