According to the actress, it was a full-body exercise’ to assume the role. “The most muscular, intuitive, yet extremely instinctive thing.” It was strange: I had to master it to not kind of mess it up.

Surreal: Kristen said Tuesday to Entertainment Tonight that it was scary to wear a copy of Princess Diana’s wedding dress in the Spencer biopic. Pictured from left is Stewart and the late royal at Prince Charles’ 1981 wedding.

Kristen said, “When we put on that dress, it is embedded into a montage which kind of flashed her entire life before you.”

“Even though we only had three days to film the movie and even though I played her as a speculatively 29-year old person, we wanted to give an idea of the extent of her life.

“Kindness of touch on all parts, even if it wasn’t in lyrical dance. She continued, “And the wedding dress is embedded into that montage and putting it on was a spooky event.”
