Camera captured the dramatic moment when a leopard cub ran away from a hungry Hyena.
The footage was taken by Moosa Varachia (30 years old), a part-time photographer guide and accountant while he was visiting the Kruger National Park in northeastern South Africa.
The clip shows an eleven month-old leopard cub hiding beneath a bush as its mother hunts to feed it.
Many people see the leopard cub on safari before a group of four hyenas appears.
One witness can be heard saying, “There’s a leopard at the first bush in front”, while the hyenas patrol the vehicles.
Before the leopard cub can be spotted, the hyenas are already walking down the road.

The lone hyena then begins to walk quickly towards the bush, where the leopard cub is hiding, and chases it once it appears.

One hyena looked away from the rest, followed its steps back and smelled the leopard cub.
The mother leopard cub was out hunting for her young cub and the cub was hiding beneath a bush.
Soon after people had spotted a leopard cub under a bush, a pack of four hyenas came close to tourists’ safari vehicles.
Moosa, who filmed and edited the dramatic chase on October 25, said to LatestSightings that they had just witnessed a male leopard at Nwaswitshaka’s waterhole. Now it was time to drive to the gate, which marks the end of the day.
“We stopped at the S1 and saw a young leopard in the dense bush.
“We took some videos and photos, and were about to leave when we saw a group of hyenas approaching.
“I knew this was not going to end well for the leopard cub.
“It was an emotional rollercoaster, and I was extremely happy to see the cub survive.”
