His management firm has reported that Liam Payne was fired because of concerns about his drinking habits.
28-year-old One Direction singer was signed to KIN in 2016, after embarking on his solo career. However, they’ve apparently parted company as the agency has reportedly reached “the end of their rope” with the star.
A source revealed to The Sun: ‘There are concerns right now for Liam because he isn’t committed to anything.

“His management was at the end their rope and decided enough was enough.
‘They didn’t know what else they could do to help him. It is hard for him seeing his bandmate Harry Styles having acclaim across the globe but the truth is that Liam has let himself go and is feeling lost.’

Liam, who has a four-year old son with Cheryl, confessed to suicidal thoughts in June while One Direction was on ‘pills & booze phase.
Speaking with Steven Barlett on the Diary of a CEO podcast, Liam also revealed he is unable to carry out basic everyday tasks and still ‘feels like a child’ despite his £500 million net worth.

Liam acknowledged that, during his time with One Direction, he was struggling with addiction and mental issues. These are things he’s kept secret up to now.

But Liam had trouble staying sober while on tour. He admitted:A few photos of me were taken on a boat. I was all puffy and it is what I refer to as my pill-and-booze-face.

Liam also had problems with his mental well-being and, when Liam was asked about moments of suicidal ideastion, he replied: “Yeah. You have definitely got some issues that I’ve never talked about. This was extremely, very severe.
Liam revealed that he had slipped back in bad habits while locked down and was reliant upon alcohol which caused him to gain weight.

He stated that he had been worried for the most part up to the recent months. It seems that many people experienced the same thing with alcohol. It became easier and more accessible to drink.
‘What I’ve found more than anything with the alcohol is boundaries. If you’re on Zoom you can probably get away with being a bit tipsy, when you’re not supposed to be.’
Detailing the impact it had on his waistline, he continued: ‘I put on so much weight, I was eating badly and describing it as a bulking period — “I’m doing it for a movie role! It’s all good!” That’s the best excuse if anyone asks if you’ve put on weight. Say it’s for a role, coming out 2022.
“I put on a lot. My biggest mistake was performing on television with the BAFTAs. I was very disappointed. I didn’t look how I wanted to look.
You know your feelings about the subject. The camera added ten pounds, as they claim. I realised I’ve let myself go in this.’
