Red magazine was a publication Liv openedly discussed with her in 2017. She said that it was their desire to expand their families that strengthened their bond.
She explained that they both wanted to have children and a family.
‘Our jobs are high-stress and high energy, and constantly moving. So it’s really only the family part that we’re on one page about. Which is amazing because it’s often quite difficult for couples.
Dave was also credited for his hands on approach to parenthood, and willingness to step up as Liv’s enormously successful career continued uninterrupted after her move to the United Kingdom.
Pals: Victoria Beckham and David Beckham are pictured together at a match in March 2020.
She recalled that she had reconnected with an agent after I moved to England. Within a week, she told me, “I’ve got this job.” And it was going to start the following week.
It meant that I had to commute to Leeds for a few days, but it was so worth it for me and David. David was just like, “I’ve got this”. He was at home for dinner and bedtime every night, and he kept the fort.
“He drops the boys off at school every morning while I stand there at the door in my pajamas, covered with food, with both my babies in my arms, in my pyjamas.”
She explained the inevitable demands of parenting four children and how she would not have it any other.
Love: The pair had been engaged since September 2015, when Dave got down on one knee and popped the question (pictured in 2017)
She said, “It’s so difficult going away on vacation with so much,” ‘We’re different from the parents who want to be like, You stay here and get into bed, we’re going on vacation.’ We want to do everything together.
‘But then going out to dinner with, like, 10 people… The babies need to eat immediately and then they’re completely restless throwing food all over the place. The boys will say, “We’re off now!” when the boys are done. You’re left trying your best to enjoy a glass or wine and your meal. Food flying everywhere.
The couple had been together since September 2015 when Dave proposed to them.
Later, she admitted that it wasn’t the most glamorous moment. She told FABLife that she was pregnant at the same time and had just stepped outside of the shower.
‘It wasn’t very sweet. I was very shocked. She said, “I didn’t know what I was doing and I didn’t look very attractive.”
“I was pregnant, and I was like crying. I just came out of the shower, and I was like unpacking. It wasn’t a glamorous moment.
