A man from Italy found his brother after searching for him for over 24 years. He was awoken by his sister stabbing him in the bed.
Martin Rabanser (35) woke to Ivo (42), coming at him from behind with a big hunting knife. It was apparently over an inheritance dispute that Ivo had with his father.
According to The Times Martin is currently in serious condition at the hospital.

Nicola Nettis was Martin’s attorney. She stated to reporters that Ivo had been angry at the terms of his father’s inheritance, which also included Martin’s house, and that he has harbored a grudge since then.
‘But most people handle this through lawyers — they don’t vanish for two decades then show up with a hunting knife.’
According to Ms Nettis Ivo returned to town and camped in nearby woods, waiting for an opportunity to strike.
Martin entered Martin’s house with two knives.
Martin was woken up by Ivo, who stabbed him repeatedly in his chest, but did not kill him intentionally, according to Ms Nettis.
Martin Rabanser, (pictured) was awakened by his brother Ivo. It is believed that Ivo had a grievance with the father’s inheritance.
Ivo is also accused of using pepper spray to attack Martin’s wife. She fled the scene in an attempt to contact police.
They hadn’t been together in over 24 years after their father died. Ivo came to Martin’s house, Selva di val Garden. It was a small part of the Italian Alps.
According to police, Ivo was found sleeping rough at Vernoa and using Vernoa’s public library to study literature.
After his disappearance in 1997, his family launched numerous TV appeals for him to be found but to no avail.
La Stampa claims that Ivo confessed to police that he felt anger toward his brother and didn’t wish to kill him.
“I was alone with him, while he lay in pain on his bed. I should have finished him off but I instead went into the kitchen and that is where I found the police.
Ms Nettis stated that Martin is safe and sound, but stabbing someone in their lung with a knife should still be treated as attempted murder, despite Ivo’s statements.
