A 36-year old man was accused of raping a British teen in Fuengirola, Costa del Sol (pictured).
The rape is said to have occurred on the morning of January 1, 2020.
According to the prosecution, the teenager was unable to call for help following the attack and has suffered from post-traumatic stress syndromes. He allegedly grabbed her by her arm and pushed them into the narrow alley.
“After the rape was reported the girl told investigators about a previous episode involving him in the summer 2019 on the night she was celebrating sex,” reports Sur.es, a Spanish newspape.
“The man approached her with cocaine and, when she refused, grabbed her arm with intent to drag her away. However, the girl’s friends were there to stop him from dragging her away.
The Public Prosecutor demands that the man be sentenced to 14 years in prison if he is found guilty. He also needs to serve eight years probation and 20 year periods of no contact or communication with the victim.
The prosecutor also requests that, if the man is granted probation to be executed, he should be deported from the country and banned from entering Spain in the ten-year period following that date.
The prosecutor is also seeking 15,000 Euros in compensation for the psychological harm done to the victim by the accused.
