The Duchess of Cambridge has confirmed that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry went incognito wearing Halloween costumes to go out with their cousin Princess Eugenie, and Jack Brooksbank. This was before the public disclosures about their relationship.
In a surprise interview with Ellen DeGeneres, Meghan stated that she and Harry had wanted to spend a night out on the town together before they became a married couple.
In a clip tweeted by Finding Freedom biographer and her friend Omid Scobie, Meghan – wearing a white £1,991 Oscar De La Renta blouse and black trousers at the Warner Bros studio in Burbank, California – explained how she and Harry enjoyed a party with Eugenie and Mr Brooskbank days before the news of their relationship broke.
Ellen told her about the 2016 event: “He came to Toronto with our friends Eugenie, his cousin, and Jack. They came as well. We went out in costume for Halloween to have one night in Toronto before the rest of the world realized that we had become a couple.” We had all kinds of bizarre costumes and it was just one night. It was post-apocalypse themed.
Mother-of-two Meghan also revealed that this year the family were ‘at home’ for Halloween – but also saw Ellen and her wife Portia de Rossi, who live near Harry and Meghan’s £11million mansion in Montecito, California.
Elle added that she wanted to create something for kids and the kids weren’t into it. Archie was only five minutes a dinosaur. Not even five. Ellen continued: “Finally Harry convinced him to put on the head. Lili however, was an abomination. It was just so adorable. Meghan opened her mouth to address the audience, “Like Flower from Bambi”.
The Duchess made an unexpected appearance yesterday on Ellen, the first TV interview she has given since the Oprah Winfrey talk-all with Harry. There were fears that the actress may soon drop further bombshells regarding the Royal Family. This afternoon, the show will be broadcast in New York (at 3pm UK Time).
Meghan also promoted The Bench, her children’s book. It said Meghan wrote the poem as a Father’s Day gift for Harry. She said: ‘It was about my observation of him and him being a dad, which was the most beautiful thing to watch.
Meghan is featured on The Ellen DeGeneres Program – airing today at Warner Bros Studios in Burbank.
The Duchess of Cambridge also promoted The Bench, her children’s novel that she wrote for Prince Harry as a poem on Father’s Day.
“Once I shared it with some friends and people we are close to, they stated, “No, this resonates with me too because it feels really inclusiv and there’s representation, and it’s just a sweet love tale between a family,” and then I added, “OK let’s transform it into an children’s novel.”
She explained that she wanted the pages to reflect the softer side of masculinity, and for people to feel like they can see themselves within them. “Because you remember as a child, that you did not always see people who were like you.”
Ellen asked, “Does Archie realize he is in this? He knows that it’s him. What do you think? Meghan replied: “He knows. When you first open the page and see our dogs, he says “That’s Pula.” That’s Guy’.’
The Sussexes own a black Labrador, Pula, as well as a Beagle named Guy.
Another clip shows Meghan expressing happiness that Harry and she were together in California, as she speaks about Lilibet’s difficulties with her teeth.
Ellen, Ellen’s friend who lives in Montecito near Harry and his wife, was curious about Harry’s love for California. The duchess answered, “We are just happy.”
Ellen stated that the Sussexes five-month old daughter, Lili, was now “teething.”
Meghan raised her arms and said, “Anything to alleviate that.”
People magazine reports that the talk-show host said, “Tequila is anything,”
Meghan responded: “That’s Auntie Ellen, for you,” with DeGeneres responding that “That’s why we don’t get kids.”
According to Ellentube.com, the show featured: ‘The activist/co-founder Archewell will talk with Ellen about growing and returning California as well her New York Times bestselling children’s book The Bench.
Ellen met Meghan accidentally at an animal shelter years ago. She encouraged Meghan to adopt Bogart as her first dog.
The former Mrs. Sussex described them as “the cutest and most down to earth” couple.
Ellen shared her feelings after meeting with the Sussexes son, Archie in 2019. Archie was my greatest joy. Archie was fed by me. Archie was held by me.
The couple has not yet released photos of Lilibet as eighth in line for the throne. She was born in the USA in June.
Named after the nickname her family used to refer to the Queen, she is yet not to have met her great-grandmother or grandfather, Prince of Wales and the Cambridges.
During their explosive chat with Oprah, Meghan and Harry accused a member of the royal household of being racist.
The duchess was also accused of committing suicide by her thoughts and the institution of monarchy did not support her. They spoke out about Harry’s difficult relationships with the Prince of Wales, his brother and the Duke of Cambridge.
The Ellen Show Trailer features The Duchess of Cambridge in a white blouse, with cut-away details on her sleeves.
Meghan added, “To drive in today wasn’t the same.”
After she said that she was going to drive the Ford Explorer Sport, which is a very old Ford Explorer Sport, the key in the driver’s door stopped working for her, she decided it would be her Ford Explorer Sport.

The duchess stated that she would climb into the trunk, then close it behind her and crawl under all the seats to escape.
Ellen asked Meghan whether she was seeing anyone. Meghan answered, “No. I would play it off.” Then I say, “Oh, I’m looking for my resume and highlighters or script.”
Ellen tweeted: “A lot has happened since Meghan, The Duchess Of Sussex was last on the Warner Brothers lots. You can read the remainder of our interview here.
Ellen was an actress and comedian who announced her intention to retire from Ellen’s eponymous TV series after the 19th season.
According to her, the show will end in spring 2022. She denied that it was due to toxic work environments.
In 2020, after Warner Bros’ internal review revealed ‘deficiencies in the show’s daily management’ she expressed regret to her staff.
Meghan was charged with bullying after The Times published a report that Meghan drove out her personal assistants, and “humiliated” staff members on numerous occasions. She denies the allegations.
Buckingham Palace has appointed an external legal team as its Human Resources team’s support in investigating the claims.
Long rumours circulated that Ellen would be the first interview with Duchess after Harry and she emigrated to Canada in January 2020. The Sussexes ultimately chose Oprah, Montecito as their neighbor.
Buckingham Palace will be concerned that Meghan may launch another attack against the royals. She has been accused of racism toward Archie, and she also claimed they didn’t pay enough attention to Meghan’s claims about being suicidal when she lived in London and was pregnant.
Ellen, who is ending her show after 19 seasons amid plunging ratings after being accused of running a toxic workplace last year, is close friends with Meghan having bonded at a LA dog shelter where the talk show host encouraged Meghan to adopt her first dog Bogart. Since then, the women have kept in touch.
Meghan spoke out about her cash shortage when she started as an actress, weeks after she revealed that she grew up with a Sizzler $4.99 salad bar. She wrote to US politicians asking for their support for Joe Biden’s paternity and maternity plans.
Experts questioned whether Americans would like her story of her struggle to get through kindergarten. She now lives in an LA home worth $14 million and is surrounded by a $100 million fortune.
It was also revealed she claimed that her father Thomas Markle, a former schoolgirl, used to take her to LA’s best-known restaurants for steaks. These celebrity meals now run at $55.
The Duchess of Sussex deleted an Instagram photo in 2013 that revealed she had told 3million people about happy times at Frank Grill and Musso on Hollywood Boulevard. It was also a hint she used to eat there after her dance lessons.
After their October 2018 wedding, Jack Brooksbank and Princess Eugenie wave to each other at St George’s Chapel Windsor Castle.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are seated next to one another at the 2017 Invictus Games, Toronto, Canada.

Meghan shared a picture of its famous sign above a vintage Mercedes with the caption: ‘I used to have lunch with my dad here after every tap & ballet class. Happy. We are grateful. Please send more #mussos to #hollywood
Meghan promoted The Bench with her children’s books, in which she said that the book was a poem she wrote for Harry on Father’s Day.
This restaurant was opened in 1919. It is famous for its grill meats and fish.
MailOnline received a criticism that said: “She has receipts all across her Instagram contradicting the poverty letter.” One critic wrote that she went to the most costly school in Los Angeles, but couldn’t afford more than $5 for a weekend meal. Thomas, who was at the time working on an Emmy-winning TV series, had also won one. I don’t know what she is talking about.
On Ellen, she wore her hair softly wavy and dangling down to the shoulders. She wore her hair in soft waves and added a bit of blush to the TV interview.
Oscar de la Renta is a favourite of the Duchess’s, and she is well-known for her passion for designer brands.
A royal will rarely choose the same outfit twice. She prefers to change out of her favourite designer, such as Givenchy and Victoria Beckham for almost all appearances.
As a senior royal mother, she wore designer clothing from Chanel, Prada, and Dior as well as an assortment of costly accessories.
Ellen and Meghan first met years ago in Los Angeles at a shelter for dogs. Ellen encouraged Meghan, then a grandmother of Bogart to adopt Bogart. Since that time they have kept in touch.
Ellen, Portia de Rosi’s wife took a trip down to London for Prince Harry’s and Meghan’s visit after Archie was born over the summer. These two are the most compassionate and down-to earth people I know. They do so much good in the world.
Ellen spoke out about how close she was to Meghan last November, when Ellen revealed that Meghan had sent Ellen a text about the “great” duo.
Also, she mentioned that Harry and Meghan were in London for a time, so they spoke about their passion for wildlife conservation.
Insiders previously revealed that Meghan loves Ellen and Portia and adores Ellen.
“She stated that she and Ellen have kept in touch after meeting in person, and they are now close. Ellen was a great supporter, she said.
