Mike Tindall stated that marriage doesn’t come with ‘all sunshine and rainbows’, and that it’s not easy to have children during his appearance on Loose Women.
The former British rugby player, 43, who shares three children with the Queen’s granddaughter Zara Tindall, appeared on the ITV panel today to talk about men’s mental health in a one-off special.
Hosted by Vernon Kay, the programme was re-branded as Loose Men to mark International Men’s Day today.
Mike spoke on the program and stated that if you are in a marriage, or have a long-term partnership, then it isn’t always all rainbows and roses.

In a special ITV interview, the 43-year old ex-player of British rugby, Zara Tindall (pictured left), spoke about the mental health of men in a single episode.
“You’re not used to having children.
“So you will have those bumpy roads like losing your job. You know that there are situations that can be thrown at both you and that it will test you. It will also test your relationship.
Mike, who joined the panel to discuss romantic relationships, was asked whether he would renew Zara’s wedding vows. He replied “I believe I would”.
They live in Princess Anne’s Gatcombe Park, Gloucestershire. The couple were married in an elegant ceremony in Scotland in 2011.
Mike admitted that his wife “stays angry” while he is able to forget about disagreements.

Mike (pictured) admitted that his wife is irritable while Mike can forget about disagreements to the other panellists.
He said that “No one is right or wrong; you must work together to get through it.”
Speaking to The Mirror ahead of his ITV appearance, Mike said: ‘I am looking forward to being on Loose Men, talking about some really important issues facing men.
‘Being a rugby player from the North, I think I would probably have a reputation as being strong and just getting on with it, but that doesn’t always work and all of us need to talk about things. It’s a wonderful opportunity to accomplish that.
Mike was an experienced rugby player for over a decade. He also played in the English team that won the 2003 World Cup.

Television presenter Ore Oduba and comedian Iain Stirling joined the former union player on the panel. Model David Gandy was also present.
Since the beginning of Loose Women 21 years ago, this is the second consecutive time Loose Women has featured an all-male lineup.
Vernon stated that he was excited to host the International Men’s Day Loose Men. He also spoke out about the importance of addressing the current issues faced by men.

Ore stated that he is’really proud of being discussing the issues which affect us men psychologically and emotional’.
International Men’s Day aims to encourage men to talk more about their mental health.
