Mike Tindall admitted to being a father-of-3 has brought on more work.
Former English rugby player shares Mia (7 years old) and Lena (3 years), were accompanied by Zara Tindall (40), and they welcomed Lucas (10th great-grandchild of the Queen).
And speaking in The Good, The Bad & The Rugby podcast this week, Mike touched on how family life had changed since they had a little boy.
Mike Tindall has admitted that becoming a father-of-three has meant he is busier than ever (seen in 2019 with daughters Lena & Mia Tindall, right)
He explained that he had planned to get ready for the Parkinson’s charity bicycle rides later in the year and joked about how ‘time disappears’.
He stated: ‘There’s a plan for a few Parkinson’s rides later on this year so I need to get into a little bit of bike shape but since the young man’s come along, time disappears, which I’m noticing a lot more when you’ve got three children so…’
The dad shared with Alex Payne that he has several reasons for doing the exercise.
Zara Tindall (40), a former English rugby player and mother to Mia and Lena are the parents of Lucas, a 10-year-old boy.
Lucas is one on March 1, and will be the queen and late Duke of Edinburgh’s 10th greatgrandchild. He also happens to be 22nd in the line for the throne.
Last March, a spokesperson for Mike Tindall announced the birth of their third baby. She said that Zaara Tindall and Mike Tindall were happy to announce their arrival.
Mike announced the arrival of Zara to his family on The Good, The Bad, and The Rugby.
Mike (seen in October, with Mia & Lena) spoke out about the changes that have taken place since their little boy was born.
Mike shared his story about Zara having experienced contractions on the previous night, so they arranged childcare for Mia (and Lena) – but Zara arrived so quickly they were unable to get to the hospital.
Mike remembered: “Fortunately Zara’s friend Dolly.” [Maude]It turns out that she is more important than me in making sure my three children are born. She was present and recognized the fact we would not have made it to the hospital on time so she ran into the gym.
“Fortunately, the midwife who was to be there with us at the hospital didn’t live that far so she drove up and arrived right as we assumed our position. Then, the second midwife arrived shortly after the head!
Mike spoke out last year about Philip, his father’s battle with Parkinson’s disease for 20 years. He shared it with family members and was amazed at how helpful it has been to him.
After removing the cord from his skin and making contact with the child, he said he brought the infant down downstairs to catch sport.
Mike said that his daughters didn’t inform him they believed Zara was having labor, but that he thought Mia knew.
Mia is quite smart and street-smart so it was no surprise that she asked, “Why aren’t we going home for tea?” The two of them were driving, and they both said that they’d had to stop for something …”. Will you stop asking questions? And then she was so happy to be in the car with them both.
The problem is Lena’s like “my baby!” Then it was like: “Problem is Lena!” It’s not your child! It’s so cute!
Mike is a patron of Cure Parkinson’s Charity since 2018. He regularly participates in fundraising challenges and events to raise funds for the charity.
Recent revelations by him about Philip, his 20-year struggle with Parkinson’s disease and his support from other family members have helped to make his path easier.
