Boris Johnson was photographed during a trip to a market wearing a baby carrier on his back, but no sign his 19-month old son.
It was captured during the Prime Minister’s visit to Wendover Farmers Market (Buckinghamshire) last week.
Although Johnson looked like he was ready to take his son Wilfred along on his shopping trip, with the baby carrier in its place, the child was not there.
As the Prime Minster shopped for charitable Christmas cards, Jack Russell Dilyn, his three-year old Jack Russell Dilyn, was on hand to accompany him.
Also, he was pictured looking at local produce on the market during the visit.

Dilyn, the canine companion of the Prime Minister, was there with him but no signs of Wilfred.
The move comes as a result of the scrutiny that Boris Johnson faced over the use face masks during public meetings in a busy week.
He was not wearing a mask at Wendover Market but was photographed with one during close contact with other vendors.
The Prime Minister received criticism earlier in the week after he was photographed wearing no face cover during his visit to Hexham General Hospital.
Following a photo shoot with nurses, Mr Johnson was photographed without any face protection.
On Monday, he insists that he uses a mask when required by coronavirus guidance. He declined to apologize.
As Parliament’s Liaison Committee grilled him, it wasn’t until Wednesday that the prime minister did apologize.

He was again under attack the next day when he was photographed not wearing a mask on board a train heading north.

According to government guidance, people are encouraged and advised to use a mask whenever they come in contact with others in enclosed or crowded areas.
