Model, 24, offers a classy response after getting trolled for lawn-mowing post

After being trotted earlier this week over her emotional Instagram post about yard work, Olivia Mathers, a Gold Coast model, has responded with a dignified reply.

After sharing her amazing lawn-mowing experience, the 24-year old became a laughing stock on social networking. She posted several photos in lingerie on Monday and shared a wise quote about how she handles criticism.

In a thinly disguised slap at her critics, the influencer captioned her post with the words “Those who mind don’t count and those who matter don’t mind”,

The sassy clapback came after Olivia’s Instagram post earlier this week about mowing the lawn at her new home. It left fans baffled.

She said that she was’so proud’ about her achievement, which had literally brought her to tears. She encouraged her 632,000 followers, to dare to try new things.

“I’ve had many happy tears during this process… Happy tears because I am just so f**king proud of myself. It’s so easy for us to face an unknown or new situation and say “I cannot”,’ she wrote, alongside a photo showing her perfectly trimmed backyard.

Olivia also praised Olivia for her mother’s inspiration to her to ‘defy all odds.

Celeb Spellcheck’s followers were quick and furious at Olivia’s dramatic display. One commented: “My three-year old did more yardwork than this today.”

“Unless she was on all fours with scissors.. color me wildly unimpressed,” another added.   

Olivia, who is the younger sister of bikini model Isabelle Mathers, bought her first home in January. 

It is possible that she was referring to her feelings as a first-time buyer rather than the mundane act mowing the grass.

It’s easy to see why so many people found her post funny, considering that she also uploaded a “before and after” video of her grass-trimming efforts.

Olivia reacted to the trolling on Instagram Stories on Monday.
