Gibson Les Paul guitars can be regarded as high-quality and very expensive. Gibson’s 59 Les Paul guitar is a highly sought-after model. The 60th anniversary edition, which almost resembles the original, was launched in 2019.

It was revolutionary for the owner of its name, Les Paul. This instrument would be a major in rock n’ rolling music. Paul claimed that he was looking for a “guitar that sustains and reproduces the sound of the string without adding anything.”

Paul said to Tony Bacon at Guitar.com that the string responded exactly the same way it was intended. “I just wanted it to do its job. I wanted to make sure it just gave you the string as the string was excited: you plucked the string, and that’s  what you got.’

The Les Paul guitars are considered 'Holy Grails' by famous rock n' rollers and the 60th Anniversary edition (pictured) is nearly a complete replica of the '59 edition

Famous rock n’ roll musicians consider the Les Paul guitars ‘Holy Grils’. The 60th anniversary edition (pictured below) almost mirrors the 1959 edition.

Les Paul (pictured) approached Gibson about making the guitar in 1941 and said they 'laughed at the idea' and called him a 'kid with a broomstick.' Paul said he wanted a guitar that let 'the string to do its thing' and had 'no distortion,' alas the solidbody was born

Gibson was approached by Les Paul in 1941 to make the guitar. He said that they laughed at his idea and called Gibson a “kid with a baton.” Paul stated that he desired a guitar that allowed the string to play its own thing and didn’t cause distortion.

Gibson was approached by Paul in 1941. He said that they laughed at Gibson’s idea and called Gibson a “kid with the broomstick”.

The ‘log’, which he called it, would become the solidbody’ guitar.

Paul’s guitar model was used by many musicians such as Jimmy Page, Slash and Billy Gibbons.

The Telecaster would be a huge success, rivaling Fender’s Broadcaster and Telecaster guitars. It redefined rock and roll.

Guitars.com considered the 59 model the ‘Holy Grail’ and the 60th anniversary edition has a lot of modern upgrades.

Les Paul guitars may cost anywhere from few hundred to several thousands of dollars.
