Social media video Tuesday posted by parents shows them running to Robb Elementary school in Uvalde Texas, as an attack on their children resulted. The shooting left two people dead and 19 others injured.

Mireles’ aunt, Lydia Martinez Delgado, released a statement.

“I feel furious about the shootings that continue. These children are innocent. It is not right for all people to have access to rifles. My hometown is a tiny community with less than 20,000. This is something I didn’t expect to happen, especially to my loved ones. All we can do now is pray for the safety of our nation, state and schools as well as all families.

Border Patrol Agent, a hero in the field with tactical support teams, shot the gunman and then killed him.

Salvador Ramos (in body armor with a weapon and possibly a firearm) shot his grandmother. He then entered the school to open fire.

Her condition was not known at the time she was flown to hospital.

Eva Mireles (44) was the family’s name for one of her teachers. Unnamed is the second.

Abbott stated that Ramos was born in North Dakota, but lived in Uvalde.

Ramos’s younger victims were between 7 and 11 years of age, CNN’s Ed Lavandera reported.

Annabelle Guadalupe Rodriguez (10 years old) said on Tuesday night that her daughter was still missing.

Abbott stated that Abbott shot and killed 14 children and a teacher – in a horrific and uncomprehensible way – during a briefing. Later, the death toll was increased to 18 children.

“There are still families who are grieving.” Texas, too, is mourning.

It was the largest such tragedy since Parkland High School students, three staff members, and 14 high school seniors were shot to death in Florida. This is also the worst incident at an elementary school since Sandy Hook, Connecticut in 2012, when 20 school children and six school staff died.

Joe Biden spoke from the White House, Tuesday night, saying that the notion that an 18-year old child can go into a gunstore and pick up two assault rifles is wrong.

“As an nation, we need to ask: When in God’s name will you stand up to gun lobby?

He said, “Why aren’t we going to accept this kind of carnage?” This is why we continue to allow it happen. Is God our backbone?”

“I had hoped when I became president that I would not be forced to do this. Again. Biden spoke out in an emotional tone, “Another massacre,”

The president spoke from the Roosevelt Room of the White House with First Lady Jill Biden, clad in black, at his side. A school for elementary students. A beautiful elementary school. There were scores of children watching their friends’ deaths as though they were fighting on the battlefield.

He took time to understand the feelings of parents who might never be able see their child again after Tuesday.

“Parents will never again be the same.” It’s like losing a child.’ The president lost Beau Biden in 2015 to brain cancer.

“There is a feeling of being trapped in your chest. It’s impossible to escape. Suffocating. The feeling is never the same. This is the shared feeling of the grandchildren and siblings, as well as the extended family and community members who have been left behind.

He was saddened that so many people were left to remember the over dozen victims.

“So tonight, I asked you to pray for us. Please give the siblings and parents the strength they need in this moment of darkness.
