He was trying to get saved from an arrange marriage by plastering his face across billboards in the nation. But, hundreds of women reached out after the hilarious stunt.
Since January 1, when he posted photos of himself in advertising hoardings throughout Birmingham and London, Muhammad Malik (29), has been offered more than 100 potential partners.
The billboards, which show a smiling Muhammad lying on the floor and jokingly begging women to ‘save me from an arranged marriage’, link back to his website ‘findmalikawife.com’.
Muhammad spoke out after the news of his unconventional attempt to find his wife. He said that he had enlisted help from close friends in order to filter the many responses he received online.
The singleton has so far refused to reveal how much he has spent on the billboard postings, but the average costs of such advertising in the UK is believed to be around £500-£600 per week, dependent on location.
Muhammad said that the hoardings would continue until January 14. He claims that his parents support him, even though his mother had to be convinced ‘a little’.
He explained: ‘I’m a creative and I love doing the most random and absurd things – as long as they are 100 per cent halal of course.
“It is early, but the responses so far have been in triple digits from some truly lovely people. Keep them coming. “I hope to be in contact with the women that I love soon.

Muhammad Malik (29-year-old Entrepreneur) created the website “findmalikawife.com” and plastered his name on several advertisements in Birmingham

Drivers who use the A34 may see smiling Muhammad on the floor, begging potential partners to save him from an arranged marriage.
Muhammad claims that he’s had offers from more than 100 women since the New Year’s Day billboards went up.
The unidentified friend who first encouraged him to advertise his plans in big cities around the UK, he also disclosed.
Although he placed similar ads in London and Manchester, the singleton refused to disclose how much he paid.
Muhammad spoke on BBC Asian Network and explained how despite using traditional dating apps, Muhammad became frustrated by the lack of human connection when he was swipe-left or right online.
He said, “It requires a lot energy to swipe left and right. You almost become immune or this robotic robot.”
“There’s a dearth of an ethereal connection between humans and the Internet space.
“Nothing can replace in-person, so that is why I believe covid really has resulted in the loss of that human connection.”
Muhammad stated that he took such drastic steps because of his personality.
“I am a creative person and love to do the weirdest and most absurd things, as long as it is 100 percent halal.
I tried traditional methods like rishta aunties, but they didn’t work so decided to take the message to the billboards.
“After finding my feet in the new work, I looked again at the lockdown after which but with no luck.
“I have billboards located in Birmingham, Manchester, and London. I thought this would help me find someone.
They have been there since the New Years. The New Year brings a brand new you!
“It is still early, but the responses so far have been in triple digits from some truly lovely people. Keep them coming.
“I hope to be in contact with the women that I love soon.
Muhammad stressed that his genuine search for love and support of arranged marriages were not against them.
He added, “I believe that arranged marriages have both a place as well as tradition in many Islamic cultural cultures.
“In actuality, many studies show that arranged marriages offer many advantages.
“I want to find someone by myself first.

Muhammad was born in London and describes Birmingham as his second home. He attributes this to Birmingham’s top quality food, Alum Rock, and its incredible mosques.

Muhammad claims that he tried an unusual method to meet ‘the one’ after all the other methods failed.
The 29-yearold also founded Towards Faith Education, a company that sells books about Islam in 11 different countries.
When his freelancing work ended, the innovation consultant was forced to leave.
His relationship with the one woman he was interested in marrying ended, and he concentrated on his new job.
Muhammad now works as a business incubator manager for Nationwide, which likely pays for his billboards that can cost between £500 and £600 per week, depending on location.
However, any women who fear this may be a joke can rest assured that Muhammad really wants a woman to share his love and Allah’s.
Muhammad believes his vision is greater than anyone who uses dating apps or seeks expert advice. He also hopes that people will connect with each other through friends and family.
“I’ve been searching for someone serious for over two years, I would say. Just before Covid was launched, I started casually looking for someone.

Muhammad wanted to emphasize that his love for God was real and that he was not opposed to arranged marriages.
“And I found someone, and even planned to marry them. However, when the pandemic hit, my consulting and freelance work stopped and I switched my focus to pivoting in my career.
“I’m still searching for the perfect girl. He explained that it was difficult out there.
“I needed a billboard in order to be seen!”
His website, www.findmalikawife.com, details the cost-free search for his love.
“My ideal companion would be a Muslim woman, in her 20s and striving for better deen.
‘I’m open to any ethnicity, but I have a loud Punjabi-speaking family so you would need to be respectful of their culture. Personality and faith are the most important things in life!
“P.S. I am an only child, and take care of my dad and mom. It’s not possible for me to believe that this will be a problem.
Muhammad claims that he tried an unusual method to meet ‘the one.’
His words were: “I am a creative and love to do the most absurd and random – but 100% halal ofcourse.”
“Traditional methods like the “rishta aunties” didn’t work so I decided to try something new.
Hindi for “Rishta” means to propose. A ‘rishta auntie”, which is essentially a marriage broker, serves her community by serving as a matchmaker.
Muhammad stated that he was hoping to meet the right one. While it is still early in this process, responses have so far been highs of double digits. Please keep the good work coming.
