The mother of identical quadruplets, who was born during the coronavirus pandemic, has spoken out about her daily life with her sons. She said that she changed 24 diapers per day for her husband and spent $300 per week shopping for groceries.
Jenny Marr, 36, from Texas, and her husband Chris welcomed their four boys — Hudson, Harrison, Henry, and Hardy — on March 15, 2020, when much of the country was going into lockdown and hospitals were implementing severe visitation restrictions.
Nearly two years later, the parents are inundated with never-ending diaper changes and trips to the grocery store, but they wake up every day grateful for their ’15 million to one miracles.’
Jenny explained to The Sun that Chris and she have had their lives completely transformed since they suddenly had four kids. ‘We go through 1.5 gallons of milk every couple of days, and I do try and cook homemade food, but sometimes I’m so exhausted that I just heat up something that’s frozen for Chris and I to eat.’

Incredible: Jenny Marr, 36, from Texas, and her husband Chris are proud parents to identical quadruplets: Hudson, Harrison, Henry, and Hardy

Brood: These 20-month-old brothers were naturally conceived. One in eleven million people have identical quadruplets, while 1 in fifteen million has one.
They were ready to have children when they gave up contraception. Six months later she found out she was pregnant. However, her 11-week ultrasound showed unexpected news.
Jenna remembered how the sonographer was looking intently at the screen. Jenna was worried about something.
“She turned her screen towards me, and said everything was okay. But she was still staring at the monitor. “So I was sure there was something wrong,” she said.
“I laughed and asked her nervously if she was going to have twins. I could not have expected her to give me that answer. “No, you’re having triplets,” she told me, finally.
“I noticed Chris was a ghostly white color and he fell to the ground with a loud thud. He was helped up by one of the nurses who gave him water. As he sat down on a chair, he was still shocked.

Surprise: Jenna & Chris found out she was pregnant with triplets after her 11 week ultrasound. Her husband had to vomit. She was later confirmed to be pregnant with four more babies

High-risk pregnancy: Chris was informed by his doctor that the chance for all quadruplets to survive was 0.01 percent.
Jenny was shocked when she found out that Jenny had multiple babies. They were also shocked to learn that Jenny was having triplets naturally by her sonographer.
When they went to see a specialist the following week, they learned she was actually pregnant with four babies — and they were identical.
‘This time Chris and I both laughed, and he didn’t faint straight onto the floor,’ Jenny said. We just thought it was funny. “We’re not coming back next week,” we told the nurse, laughing. I was pleased that it was going to be four, as I’ve never liked odd numbers.
Chris laughed and said, “They will be in a position to partner up.” ‘There is never going to be an odd one out.’
One in eleven million people or one in fifteen million have identical spontaneous quadruplets.

Miracle: Jenny, who was 28 weeks pregnant at the time of her caesarean section delivery on March 15, 2020 during the coronavirus pandemic, gave birth to her sons by C-section.

Preemies: Jenna and Chris’s sons had to be tubefed because of their size, and Hudson was the only one of the four boys who didn’t require oxygen support

Thankful: New parents received special visiting rights in lockdown and were allowed to visit their babies every day.
Jenny’s doctor explained to Jenny that Jenny’s case was “incredibly rare”, explaining that the identical quads also shared one placenta.
‘We couldn’t believe it. I’d been pregnant with one embryo, which had split very early on into my pregnancy, and then both halves had split again,’ she explained. “The hospital informed us there had been only 75 cases in which it happened before.
Jenny was aware of the risks involved in her pregnancy, but was not prepared for how unlikely it would be that any of her four children would survive.
“The doctors informed Chris that they believed the chances of all three babies surviving were 0.01 percent,” she stated. ‘He kept that awful secret to himself all the way through and never told me, as he didn’t want me to panic about it. If I’d known, I would have been distraught.’
Jenny was required to undergo weekly scans. Every time Jenny got one there were “four little heartbeats pumping vigorously away.”

Incredible: Hudson, Harrison and Henry returned home from hospital on May 31st.

Smart: Jenny stated that she would ‘line the boys up according to who was born first’ when they were babies so she could identify which one was.

She knows: The mom has no problem telling her boys apart now that they are older because they have ‘four individual faces’ and unique personalities
When she entered early labor, she was only 28 weeks pregnant. Due to their large size, her four sons were born via caesarean section.
Hardy was 2 lb, 10 oz. Harrison and Henry were smaller, at 2 lb, 6 oz. Hudson, who weighed in at 1 lb. and 15 oz, was the smallest of the four boys. However, he wasn’t dependent on oxygen support.
Jenny and Chris received special visiting rights in lockdown and were allowed to visit their babies every day. They stayed at the hospital from May 29th to the June 30th.
According to her, Hardy arrived home first and was 5 lbs. lighter than she. Chris and myself were very nervous the first night. We hardly slept a single hour. The three other children arrived shortly after and our home has become crazy ever since.
‘It’s been one whirlwind of nappy changing, feeding, and sleeping. They now all sleep at the same times, which is great. When they were only weeks old I used to line them up according to who was first so that I could tell which one was which.

A busy life: Jenny and Chris must change approximately 24 diapers per day

Little ones are starving: This family spends over $300 per week on grocery shopping, as well as plenty of milk for their boys.

Happy family: Jenna and Chris are looking forward to celebrating Christmas with their four sons, who will be turning two in March
The mom is comfortable telling the boys that their sons are older and that each of them has a unique personality.
“Harrison likes attention and is the big brother.” Hardy’s personality is very funny. He doesn’t mind if you go with him. Hudson, Hudson and Henry have an infectious smile. Hudson loves being outside. Hudson also checks on everyone’s safety.
She said, “Everyday I gaze at my 15,000,000 to one quads and wonder that they are still here today.” “They were 15,000,000 to one miracles and they made us feel the luckiest parents in the entire world.
Jenna & Chris hope to celebrate Christmas with their boys who will turn 2 in March.
‘It’s going to be a great Christmas this year — so different to when it was just Chris and I,’ she said. “We will spend Christmas together as a family, watching Christmas movies together. The babies will be thrilled to see all the decorations and lights.
“Life is too hectic right now. We will have to enjoy Christmas with our family.
