Instead, these exclusive pictures from the set of series four of Killing Eve show the hitwoman, as played by Jodie Comer, placing a hand softly on the waist of Sandra Oh’s intelligence officer as she peers through a tourist telescope.
Between the scenes being shot near London’s Tower Bridge, 28-year-old Ms Comer looks relaxed and happy, even if she seems to be wearing a dowdy boiler suit far removed from her character’s usually outlandish outfits.

But it is actually a high-end trouser and bomber jacket combo from designer Helmut Lang, costing more than £1,000.
Ms Comer recently said that her psychopathic character ‘dresses for herself’ and described the wardrobe choices as ‘loud and a little mismatched’.
These photos were captured during filming of the BBC’s next thriller series.
Some scenes are thought to have been destined to the final episode. They were captured on the Dixie Queen paddle steamer which is a vessel that hosts parties and conferences on water.
One onlooker told The Mail on Sunday: ‘There was a real upbeat feeling on set – a sense that everyone has had a wonderful few years and they are finishing in the most fantastic way.’

Parallels can be drawn between the riverside scenes and the final series’ finale, where Eve and Villanelle are seen holding hands while crossing a bridge that overlooks London.
The two of them make a deal to go their separate ways and will never be seen again. However, they stop walking and both turn around to see each other.
A recent clip released on Twitter and entitled ‘Our lips are sealed. Mostly’ shows the central characters apparently in disguise, including a shot of Eve wearing a short blonde wig and sunglasses.
Ms Comer recently expressed her delight that the series will finish on a high, telling Harper’s Bazaar: ‘I would rather we ended on a good note and kept our integrity, instead of going on and on, and being kicked out the door.’
