An unidentified naturist, nicknamed “The Naked Carpenter”, entered the police station and exposed his naked body in a see-through Thong and Trousers. He was jailed for twelve months.
Robert Jenner was released just hours earlier from jail for offences of exposedness. He was known for his open-minded behavior.
In addition to being licensed, he also received a seven-year CBO (criminal behaviour order) for his choices of clothing.
The court was told that the initial officer who met him could clearly see the 48 year-old woman’s genitals. However, she requested confirmation from a colleague as she wasn’t wearing glasses.
Questioned about why he didn’t just put on the underwear he bought at Marks and Spencer that morning, the ex-Princess of Wales Regiment infantryman served in the Iraq War and said that he was wearing the ‘first thing to come to his mind’.
Simon Sandford, the prosecution’s attorney, informed the judge that it was unlikely that the defendant had ever left prison while wearing see-through clothing. He therefore required the judge to change into the clothes before he went to the police station about getting a new mobile phone.

Robert Jenner, pictured, walked into Maidstone Police Station in Kent following his release from prison wearing a transparent thong

Jenner, 48, pictured, was arrested for breaching a criminal behaviour order and appeared today at Maidstone Crown Court

A jury took 15 minutes before passing a guilty verdict. Jenner (pictured) was given a second 12-month sentence, though he could be freed immediately because of the time spent on remand.
Jenner claimed that Jenner has no fixed address and that he is entitled to dress as he pleases. He also denied violating the CBO by claiming his top covered his manhood.
Kent’s Maidstone Crown Court jury took only 15 minutes to find his defense and found him guilty.
Judge Charles Macdonald (QC) passed today’s maximum sentence for this type of breach offence.
Jenner told him: “There’s a long, persistent history of behavior that’s inexcusably illegal and there’s a continued risk of criminal or anti-social behavior.
“All that top-covering tale is just a collection of lies, the jury found.”
This is repeat offenders who disregard the law and court.

In February this year he lost an appeal against conviction and 12-month jail term for walking through Maidstone town centre dressed in similar see-through trousers which revealed his buttocks and genitals
This former soldier got his Naked Carpenter title in September 2016. He was known for performing DIY, gardening and chores without the use of work boots.
This led to outrage from neighbours, and he was later cleared of the 11 indecent exposure charges pertaining to his naked activities in his home.
He was convicted of flashing his genitals by wearing crotchless pants while driving for Hermes and then parading around in transparent shorts at a supermarket.
CBO in March 2019 required him to wear at least one layer of clothing over his genitals in public or while attending an event for naturists.
Jenner was wearing a see-through thong, trousers and a sleeveless thong to Maidstone Police Station in Kent on the 12th of January.
Maidstone Crown Court heard that detective constable Melanie Bolt had arrived shortly before 5pm and was called up to speak with him.
“She invited him along to an interview in a nearby room. According to Mr Sandford, she thought that she could see the penis of his partner through the clothes he was wearing.
“But, she was wearing glasses and didn’t have any. So, she asked her colleague to come and verify what she saw.
He said that PC Homam Al Sinawi first saw the ex serviceman sitting behind a computer and when he demanded him to rise, he realized his genitals “were on display”.
“He was able see through the defendant’s pants and underneathwear, and could also see his genitalia,” said the prosecutor.
“This was clearly in violation of the criminal conduct order.
The man was then taken into police custody. He said that his pants had been washed frequently, presumably to indicate that their skin was more translucent.
According to the court, the clothing was put on a mannequin for police purposes. Brown tape was then placed over his penis.

Passing the maximum sentence today for such a breach offence, Judge Charles Macdonald QC said the jury ‘saw through his pack of lies’
After being shown the photos and the clothing, Mr Sandford stated that it was clear that his genitals were visible through his clothes and that he had violated the order.
Jenner, who was representing himself in court, denied that his genitals had been ‘on display’. They were only visible to him when police requested he lift his top and do ‘a little dance’.
“Had my genitals been on the show, as the police suggested,” he said. I would not have had to raise my top if I was. He said that my genitals weren’t on the show.
When asked about his sexual pleasure from being exposed in public, he declined to answer.
Jenner received a sentencing hearing from Niall Doherty. Doherty defended Jenner and said nothing was’sinister puerile or sexual.
He believes in naturism According to Mr Docherty, his behavior was acceptable in his eyes and is in compliance with his human right’s.
“He does not regret any of his actions, but is deeply and utterly sickened about the prison system.
His January arrest resulted in him being remanded into custody, ahead of his trial. Because he has already served his sentence, it is probable that he will be released from jail. The probation service will issue a 1-year supervision order. He will continue to be subject to the Criminal Behaviour Order.
According to some sources, he was an active Naturist Society member once, participating in naked swims, and exploring nudist beaches on the Isle of Sheppey, France, Spain, and France.
The jury were only informed about his previous convictions and prison release until the day after they delivered their unanimous verdict.
This February, he was sentenced to 12 months in prison and an appeal against his conviction. He was accused of walking through Maidstone wearing see-through pants that showed the bottoms of his genitals.
To go to a Wetherspoons’ pub nearby, he had on the transparent shirt.
A startled officer asked Jenner what he was wearing under the pants. Jenner laughed and replied, “Socks” and called himself Mr Inappropriate.
Jenner, who was being held at the time of this arrest, had been released from prison on Jan 19th 2020 for 10 offences.
Jenner is originally from Snodland (Kent), but he has not yet been given a fixed address. Jenner claimed to be a naturist since more than twenty years, and that he served 10 years in military service.
After a judge heard that he had worn jeans with holes in the crotch while delivering parcels, he was sent to jail for 2 years.
In Kent, he also displayed his manhood in see-through shorts while visiting a country park, supermarket and shopping centre.
In a span of 10 months his victims were a fourteen-year-old girl and a pregnant female. He was exposed on two occasions.
He was sentenced in December to 10 months imprisonment after he violated the conditions of the sex offender registry.
