According to authorities, firefighters saved a naked man who had been trapped in the theater walls for several days.
Syracuse Fire Department was notified by John Kane, Deputy Chief of Syracuse Fire Department, that a person had been trapped within the Landmark Theater’s walls just before 7:30 AM. The call came after an employee of the center heard the man screaming for help.
According to authorities, the man of 39 years, not named, entered the theater Tuesday or Wednesday.
In order to accommodate a small fiber-optic camera and to determine the exact position of Mr. Smith, the department had no choice but to create a space in the theater wall.

Syracuse.com’s Executive Director Mike Intaglietta said that the man was seen walking around the theatre earlier in the week. Employees claimed they thought he left after losing his track.
He said, “I don’t understand if he came in to get warm or to go to the toilet.” Intaglietta stated that she didn’t know.
Kane said that the man found his way to a crawlspace in the building. There he lived for two days until he fell into a wall of the men’s toilet, which was when Kane became trapped.
