However, she said to CNBC in the USA that she would be acting as vice prime minister with Sir Kier at the top.

But she told US broadcaster CNBC she planned to do it as deputy prime minister, with Sir Kier in the top job.

However, she said to CNBC in the USA that she would be acting as vice prime minister with Sir Kier at the top.

“At the moment I cannot wait to get into number 10, With Keir, and be his deputy pm as a girl of my heritage, who was born on the council estate, very poor family to leave school at 16 with no qualification to be deputy prime minister, would be an absolute honor, she stated.

“I will always remember the faith that my constituents have placed in me right now. It’s that which motivates me to continue. They deserve more than they have right now. “I will continue fighting for that goal.

This isn’t the first time that Ms. Rayner spoke out about taking the reins at the top

She positioned herself last September as the future leader of the party conference at Brighton by boasting that Boris Johnson could bluster his way to the position of PM. I am certain I can do better.

Ms Rayner today was asked whether Keir Starmer is an electable leader.

“I believe Kier Starmer has demonstrated that he’s the kind of leader you would want to look after schools and hospitals. He doesn’t come in there to show off his ego, but because he really wants to help his family and those families who are struggling,” she stated.

“His mother was an NHS worker and she needed the NHS for a very severe illness. His dad started working with a toolmaker. It’s a boy-do-good story in Britain, you know.

“Many people from the working classes in the UK don’t have degrees but want their children to be able to do the same. It’s how it happens for him. He wants the same for all. He also wants all people to respect the rules.
